"We've got the whole family in here. Are you excited?"

"Very," Ethan answers

"Alright so just a few reminders. We're gonna start you off with testosterone every week. So every sunday you're gonna get a shot. Mom or dad can help you. At the end of every month you'll come in for a minor physical. Just to check your voice, body changes, hormonal changes, things like that. If you have any concerns please feel free to call. But I highly suggest staying in therapy, alright?" The doctor asks

"Ok," Ethan nods

"Ok. Here we go," The doctor takes a needle and injects it into Ethan's thigh.

"Tingles," Ethan mumbles

I'm taking a video and Adriana's hold Ethan's phone that has Kendra on facetime.

"And there we go. I'm gonna go get your prescription ready, come join me outside when you're ready," The doctor says taking her gloves off and leaving.

"How do you feel?" I ask

"Happy," Ethan says with a wide smile.

He got his G1 this morning and now has his first shot of Testosterone.

He gets off the bed and puts his pants back on, still having a full smile on his face.

"Congratulations, bro," Him and Jamiah do their handshake before Jamiah hugs him.

"Thank you,"

"Yay, Prince Ethan!" Flavia claps, though she probably doesn't know what's going on.

Ethan hugs his little sister and kisses her cheek before hugging me.

"Thank you, dad," I can hear him starting to get emotional which makes me emotional

"You're welcome, buddy," I kiss the top of his head which giving him the tightest hug.

"Seriously. I know how hard you've been trying so that I'm comfortable but it's helped so much," he sniffles

"I'm glad it's helped. I'm so glad you're comfortable," I say, patting his back

When we pull away I wipe my eyes and he goes to Adriana giving her a hug. After their hug Ethan takes his phone and talks to Kendra.

I knew he liked someone, but I didn't know it was Kendra. She's a nice girl, always so kind and respectful when she comes over.

We leave the room and head to reception. I help Ethan book his next appointment and they give me his prescription slip to go pick up before we leave for the cottage.

We leave the doctors office and head back home so that Ethan can get ready for his game.

"Dad! Where's my suit?!"

"In the laundry room!" I yell back

"Flavia sleeps like that dead," Adriana comments

"I know. I think she learned it from me taking her to all of Ethan's hockey games when she was a baby," I say. Flavia's asleep on top of me. We woke up pretty early so i'm not shocked she's taking a nap right now.

"Can you do my tie please?" Ethan asks, storming into the room

"Ask your mom," I point towards the bathroom

"Mom can you help me do my tie?" He asks, standing outside the door

"Yeah. Come in, I'm just putting on earrings," Ethan opens the bathroom door and goes in. "Aww you look so cute," I hear Adriana gush
