The Fence - Dontaie

There was a white fence.
A fence that separated two houses.
One of blue and red.
The red held a heir of gold.
The blue a collector of all things old.

On each sides laid a boy.
And the other a female.
Day passes and they stare at each other through the singular window panes.
Never once losing eye contact.
Not ever giving way.

At night, they'd hold deep talks.
Both dreamed of crossing the line and taking great walks.
Ones into the bright lighted hills of concrete and happiness.
Yes, both did want that type of bliss.

Days would pass.
That would become weeks.
Weeks into months.
Their cycle finally would break.

One day. Her eyes wandered.
And she finally spoke the words he waited forever to hear.
He asked her to repeat, just to be clear.
She told him not to fear.
As he crossed the threshold, and defying all logic they cuddled and he at last held her near.

Watching tv and talking for hours.
Eluding to the world what the Normal didn't encounter.
The found happiness with each other.
Yes!, They found love together.
