"just a-" i was about to answer when Vinnie's phone starts calling.

His mom

He quickly answers putting his phone on his ear "yes Ma" Vinnie answers.

"not now" "I can't Ma" "okay put her on the phone" he stands up.

"hi Lela" Vinnie smiles and i hear little giggles from the phone.

"Okay Ma i really have to go" "okay bye"

"who was it?" I smile at Vinnie, "I'll tell you when you tell me about Gabe"

"ugh" "he's just a boy i used to like and he likes me back" i sigh.

"so was that your mom?" I ask, "does he bother you?" Vinnie folds his arms.

"no Vinnie now answer my question" I say frustrated.

"that was uhm" "my little sister" Vinnie mumbles looking at his fingers.

"your what" "you have a little sister?" I frown, "yeah now let's start with the next slide" Vinnie's whole mood changes.

"how old is she" i ask curiously, "she's almost 2" Vinnie smiles to himself opening his laptop.

There's no way his mom had a baby about 2 years ago? Huh

"the pizza is here" Vinnie says looking at his phone before standing up.

"can i pay?" I quickly put my hand in my pocket pulling out some money.

"No" Vinnie gives me a look like I'm crazy and walks to the door.

"thank you" he closes the door holding a pizza box, "I'm starving" "you must be too" Vinnie smiles putting the box on the coffee table infront of the tv.

"wanna watch something while we eat then continue the presentation?"

"Yeah sure" i smile at Vinnie, he pulls out a slice putting it on a plate then gives it to me.

"Thank you" i take the plate and watch him put on Demon Slayer.

I turn to my side after the episode ended and see that Vinnie fell asleep on the couch.

Next to me

I smile and take the pizza box to the kitchen and wash my hands.

I walk back to Vinnie and close the tv screen.

"Vinnie" i lightly shake his arm, does he get enough sleep?

"Vinnie" I repeat holding his arm staring at his tattoos.
