It's been about 1.5 years since Tess and I came back from the future and to say that our lives were hectic would be an understatement. In the mornings we would meditate by purifying our cores, do some light training, and sometimes I would train Tess how to influence aether.

It was complicated, to say the least for how I can teach someone who has vitra blood how to influence aether. With Regis's help and the fate rune, I was able to force her body to adapt to using aether. Secondly, I formed her own aether core. Unlike how I formed my own in which I used the remaining remnants of my mana core to direct the aether core, I had Regis go into her body and direct the aether to a single point while I pump aether from my core and into her body. This worked out swimmingly as it quickly formed a core in a matter of 3 hours than in a whole day like mine.

When I told gramps how the procedure went he jumped in the air in celebration both seeing that his granddaughter is ok and also seeing she now has the potential to ascend to a level higher than the asuras.

Merial and Alduin also had the same reaction as well, if it weren't for Rinia's faith in me I don't think they would have wanted to take the risk.

As for Rinia she came by the same day and gave us advice on how we should approach the war. She told Merial and Alduin that they should do everything they can to form the council earlier. Because of their efforts trade between the kingdoms will open in about a year which is more than enough time for the core-forming artifact to be given any more finishing touches and time to plan out its use for the next 6-7 years until the war.

Rinia told Tessia and I said that we should train in the relic tombs once our bodies become more developed and Tessia becomes more adept in aether.

For our training, we started with the Vivum edict in the creation part and moved on to life and then destruction. Tessia developed her healing capablities at an astonishing rate because of Sylvies help. For creation I created a copy of the 'realmheart' rune that I got from the previous timeline and gave it to her. I taught her how to use the Djinn's version of realmheart and helped her developed her own identity using it. She learned to better utlize her plant magic because of it and by my surprise was able to create vines made of soulfire, but a closer look made me realize that she cloaked her vines in soulfire and learned how to do it without harming the vines. For Destruction since because of it's effects we took a look at how Regis - much to his dismay - was made and was able to create something similar. It was similar to the aclorite that Wren gave me in that it would grow on her hand and that it would grow into whatever way she evolves as a mage, but we were able to get the Destruction Rune implemented onto it and so it would certainly be able to utilize destruction. Of course, the only downside was we were unsure of what it would develop into. Tess was of course excited at the prospect of possibly getting a companion like Regis or Sylvie.

Tess still has some time until she can be given insight into the aevum edict. The entire time I would only give her pointers and nothing else, everything else she needed to learn on her own. Of course, she is also adamant about doing this on her own. She said that she relied on me too much on the last timeline and that the entire time she was just a damsel in distress. She said now that we have similar bodies and aether cores were now on an equal playing field.

Since we both don't have to sleep that much due to our bodies she and I or Sylvie would train with her for hours. Our night training would often get loud enough to wake gramps or Tess's parents up at night. This prompted us to think of an alternate solution for our training. Regis came up with a bright idea that we should try to replicate an environment similar to that of the aether orb or the different dimensions of the relic tombs. He said that an environment where we can freely train without damaging the environment or waking people up would just be creating a separate permanent dimension. We brainstormed a couple of ideas of what it should do and how people should enter it and in the end, we got it. We decided to create a separate dimension, not like the relic tombs that work on a 4th-dimensional plane but just one big dimension that acts as a training room.
