Fourth of July at cousins is all about traditions, Susannah decks out the whole house, the dads come up for the weekend, the boys steam clams and shoot off fireworks. All the other fourth of July's belly and I was just tagging along. But this year we have friends, we have plans.

We are all having breakfast as belly gives Jeremiah her cereal milk, the boys get ready to fulfill their Fourth of July duties. I wipe off the milk-Stach that Jeremiah has, the moms and Steven start talking about who he's taking to the deb hall then Susannah reminds us we have dance rehearsal tomorrow, which makes me so excited.

Dads girlfriend arrives and safe to say, she looks very young and I already don't like her but it's whatever. She tells us thats they're not staying here, thank god but also she's going to make pomegranate margaritas that's when the door bell rings. Belly rushes to go get it.

Everyone arrives, all the girls and everyone is socializing but me, Jeremiah and belly go in while Victoria explains how she found the recipe to the pomegranate margarita, but as soon as she leaves to take the adults some belly is already drinking one of the ones intended for the moms, then me and Jeremiah taste some and it's amazing. It taste exactly like a slurpee.

"What are you guys making." Conrad says as he walks in.

"Pomegranate margaritas but with a twist." Belly says and starts getting the ingredients around.

" well, you got to use the good blender." Conrad says and as soon as he says that I knew today was going to be a disaster.

"Oh, I-I haven't used that thing since the great Kool- Aid debacle of 2011." Jeremiah says bringing back old memories.

" I remember that you licked the kool-Aid off my arms, jere." As I said that conrad and belly looked disgusted.

"Yea well, I'd do it again." He said and started tickling me as I laugh out loud.

" the counters were sticky for two summers?" Conrad says laughing it off.

"Yeah. Just about." Jeremiah says.

As we were making it, talking about how mom puts Adam In his place but then he walks through the door. Susannah comes in and she looks a little surprised  and there was tension between the two that I haven't noticed before.

"Alright let's get back to the party." Susannah says as if she's in a rush to get away from Adam.

" let's go, kids." She says all bubbly.

We all walk on the beach to find all the girls sitting and talking and laughing. We all walk and sit and I realize there's no where for me to sit.

"What's wrong, babe." Jeremiah says a little too loudly. Everyone looks over and Gigi opens her mouth.

" babe? Are you guys like together?" She asked and before I could say no Jeremiah answers for me.

" yea, it happened like a week ago." He says as he pulls me into his lap holding onto my waist.

We all start playing drinking games and I stop noticing I don't feel so great, so I just start to watch everyone become more drunk by the minute.

We decide to go back to the house to just talk and I just watch Jeremiah throw a football, god he's so hot. So I basically get lost in the conversation except when Belly spills to shayla about Taylor and Steven and her and cam walk away.

"I'm so sorry I promise she didn't mean to hurt your feelings, she's never been this drunk before." I say feeling terrible.

"Hey it's ok, I'll just talk to Steven about it." She smiles lightly.

The girls start to leave and I think it's because of the whole Taylor thing and then cam starts to leave because belly's drunk. I go to find jere and I see Belly running after Susannah with the cake

" I want the piece with all the strawberries!" She says all excited as she trips into Susannah and knocks them both down taking the cake with her.

" oh my god. Belly are you ok." I say looking for any injuries.

But everything gets quite when Susannah shoos Adam away, Belly tries to apologize but she doesn't say anything and just walks away.

The boys get ready for the fireworks and I finally find Jeremiah.

" hey do you wanna go watch the fireworks?" I say as become nervous around him.

" yeah. Yeah. We should have that talk anyways right." Jeremiah says as we walk down towards the beach and sit down, it's quite for a minute and I decided to break the silence.

" Jeremiah, what are we I'm tired of not knowing what we are when I know I'm in love with you." I say as it poured out of me.

"We are in love may, and I've been in love with you for so long and I need you to be my girlfriend so I can finally be happy with you." He says as he leans closer and I just nod as he kisses me and it was a passionate deep kiss that lasted for so long like we kissed like we were like the last people on earth.

Then he rest his head on mine and says "you have no idea how long I've worshiped you and waited for this moment." And he continues to kiss me and with that the night ends so perfectly.

Yet I don't think he realizes how happy I am with him, falling in love with him has been the best thing that has happened to me.
