A BOND

Introduction: Abhishek Nigam: Age 21yrs. Living in hostel of New York. Studying in 3rd year.

Siddharth Nigam: Age 19yrs. Gonna join New York's hostel. Studying in 1st year.

Siddharth and Abhishek are cousins but they don't know about it never they met before nor their families met nor shared with them ever.

In hostel room. Abhi was sitting on his bed, studying when someone knocked the door. Abhi went and open it. He found a boy.

Boy: Hello! I am Siddharth. Your roommate.
Abhi: Hello I am Abhishek. Come in.

Sid walked in and jump on bed.

Abhi (sternly): Ye kya hain? Shoes pehn kar hi. Bed kharab kar doge. Jao apne bed par. Mera bed kharab mat karo.

Sid: Yaar main 20hrs ki travelling karke aaya hoon. Reham karo choti si jaan par. Sone do.
Abhi: Haan to? Maine thori bola tha. Tum apni marzi se aaye. Chalo utho yaha se ye mera bed hain. Tum apne us wale bed par jao.
Sid: Arey mere dost. Yaha tera mera kuch nahin hain. Sote time ye sab yaad bhi nahin aata. Good night.

In no time. Sid drift to sleep. Abhi was glaring him hard but as if Sid cared. Abhi looked behind and saw Sid's luggage on door. He went and took it inside. He closed the door.

Abhi (looking at Sid): Kya insaan hain ye. Pata nahin mera year kaise jayega iske sath.

He shook his head and went to take his books. He sat on study table and continued his studying.

After few hours. Abhi saw time.

Abhi's pov: Dinner ka time ho gaya hain.

He closed his books and went to get fresh. After he came out of washroom. His eyes fell on Sid who was sleeping peacefully.

Abhi: Isko uthana padega. Mess time ho gaya to isko dinner bhi nahin milega first day par hi.

He went towards Sid.

Abhi (shooking Sid): Hello!
Sid (sleepy voice, keeping his hand on ear, thinking its phone call): Hi
Abhi (mumble): Ye kya pagal hain? Huh!

Abhi: Arey uth... dinner time hua hain. Late hua to mess band ho jayegi.
Sid (sleeping): Hmm.... Aunty garam karke yehi rakh do. Main kha luga.

Abhi smack his forehead. He took water from side table and splash it on Sid. Sid woke up with jerk.

Abhi: Huh! Dinner ka time hua hain. Chalo jaldi varna dinner nahin milega.

Sid was looking at Abhi with shock for few seconds, trying to register everything in his little brain.

Sid: Theek main aaya.

Sid went to get fresh and came back in few minutes. Abhi was in room only, waiting for Sid.

Sid: Aap gaye nahin?
Abhi: Nopes. Socha tum new ho to tumhe help lagegi.

Sid nodded. They both went for dinner. While having dinner.

Sid: Aap kaun se class me ho?
Abhi: Final year.
Sid: Oh! Mere se bade ho. To main uncle bhula sakta hoon na aapko?
Abhi (glaring): Bhai bol sakta hain. Tere baap ki umar ka nahin hoon jo uncle bolega.

Sid giggle. Abhi ignored him and focused on food. Some minutes later. Abhi's friend, Sumedh came.

Sumu (hitting on Abhi's head): Naya dost mil gaya.
Abhi: Mera roommate hain. Aaj hi aaya hain.

Sid, Sumu introduce each other.

Skips to few weeks later. Sidshek bonded well in this time. Abhi used to bare sid's tantrums and drama. Sid used to bare Abhi's lecture and strict behave.
