Nico Driving Lesson

I stare at him wide eyed thinking I didn't hear him right

"Wait what?" I ask him and he snorts at that

"I'm teaching you to drive! This dirt road leads on for miles and has turns and stuff another day I can teach you to park but right noe we can focus on driving." He said and my heart starts pounding

"Nope nope nope! This is not a good idea." I state shaking my head and he chuckles

"Come one Nico. No one drives on this road and there isn't any huge obstacles." He said and I shake my head and he grabs my hand and froze

"Nico you're literally shaking, I didn't think you would be this scared." He says softly and I take a deep breath

"I lied, my Dad tried to take me driving once I was doing well. Until we got hit by a car that lost control and I saw it and I couldn't move out of the way since it was coming right for us and I didn't want to lose my Dad like I lost my mom so I turned the car in time so it would hit my side instead of my Dad's...I got seriously injured. When I woke up in the hospital my Dad was on the phone with my sister Bianca and I heard him say "I can't lose him like I lost your Mother...since then I've been too scared to drive..." I say quietly and Will was silent. I could tell he was hesitant to speak until he sighs

"I was the same way for a long time...I didn't get in a car accident but since my Mom's death I refused to learn to drive. Until one day a friend of mine. Austin. Got in my face and told me 'If you live you life in fear you will never know what you'll miss out on. And that my Mom wouldn't want me to be scared.' I'm not gonna force you Nico but I think it will be a good for you to face your fears." He said to me softly holding my hand

I finally look up at him and he was staring at me with his ocean eyes and I sigh with a small smile

"I mean it would be a waste to drive all the way up here." I say letting go of his hand and unbuckling my seatbelt

"Wait really?" He asked as I get out of the car and go to the driver's side as he was waiting there

"Your right Will. But, if I feel any type of danger I'm stopping the car and we are switching back." I say my hand still shaking and he grabbed both my hands and kissed them

"Deal, I'm so proud of you and your mom is too" He said kissing the top of my head and let's me get in the drivers seat and closes my door and heads to the passenger side

I take deep breaths and shaking my head out of possible scenarios and buckle up tightly and Will buckles up and I put my foot on the break and start the car putting it in drive

"Alright so your just gonna pull onto the dirt road." He instructs and I let my foot off the break and slowly push onto the gas and pull onto the dirt road

"Very good" He compliments and I smile nervously and continued driving

I relaxed a little more and Will talked calmly to me and I eventually relaxed enough to talk back.

We get to a turn and Will tells me to turn the blinker on and I do and turn right and I did okay but I was really slow

"That was good Nico, next to try a little faster if you can." He smiles and I nodded laughing a little

"My heart is pounding." I admit and chuckles a little

"Your doing great Neko" he smiles and I blush glancing at him and then back at the road

We get to another turn and I turn the blinker on and turn onto it and I actually didn't slow down as much and Will wooped

"That's great babe your doing amazing." He said and my heart swelled up and I'm not stiff holding the steering wheel
