" so what time are you leaving ?" Jeremiah said over the phone, Jeremiah and I have talked on FaceTime everyday since we were twelve. It's the start on summer and my family and the fishers are going to cousins. I honestly don't remember a summer where I wasn't at cousins, hanging with jere.

"I think we are leaving in a few hours but your going to see me soon jere." I say with a almost hushed laugh.

" I know mayflower, I just miss you" mayflower it was a nickname that Jeremiah came up with when I had told him that the prettiest flowers bloomed in may. He thought it was unique and beautiful. He's been calling me that ever since.

" hey jere listen we are about to leave and I need to go but I will see you later."

I loved the feeling of coming back to a place where you know where your heart is.

" I want you guys to have a productive summer this year" my mom says.

"Um don't we always. We go swimming and play volleyball and- " my sister belly stops in the middle of her sentence as I interrupted her to finish her sentence.

" practice for the Olympics of course." I say in a joking matter

" okay do we need to talk about curfews. I mean you guys are probably not going to want to stay in the house the whole summer" my mother says

"Mine has always been eleven thirty as always and Jeremiah and maya never leaves each other's side, as for belly you've got nothing to worry about." My brother Steven replies as if he's being somewhat serious.

"Okay Steven no need to be an ass" my mother says as she laughs quietly.

"Oh Steven will you please help me practice driving." belly begs.

"Yes, belly I've told you that a thousand times." Steven replies annoyed

"What about you maya?" Steven asks curiously

" oh I can have Jeremiah teach me" I reply secretly smiling knowing Jeremiah would without me having to ask.

We pull into their driveway of the beach house. It feels as if I've never left. suddenly all the memories of Jeremiah and I come rushing at once when I see his bright smile come towards me and engulf me in a hug, picking me up as he spins us around.

"Maya, I've missed you so much." He mumbles in my neck.

"Jeremiah have you been working out ?" I say as I noticed how much muscular he's gotten.

"Why yes. Yes I have." He says as he lifts his sleeves up to show his muscles.

I noticed Conrad staring at belly. Those two have always been in love with each other and never had noticed so I walk up to him.

" hi Conrad, it's been forever." I say as I engulf him in a hug.

"It honestly has maya but you and belly look better with glasses" I roll my eyes and my thought was interrupted by Steven.

"Hey guys I don't know about you but I think it's time for..." Steven and Conrad walk over to belly as Jeremiah walks over to me. " a belly flop." They All say in sync.
