"how have you been?" finn asked his sister.

"better, but i'm taking it day by day" arianna shrugged. "what about you?"

the two were at arianna's apartment watching a bunch of movies. they hadn't seen each other in a while due to arianna's radio silence on everyone, but she had missed her brother and decided she was in desperate need of sibling time. so here they are.

"i've been pretty good, just been worried sick since my sister decided to ghost me for almost two months" finn nudged her shoulder.

"sorry, i just needed a little bit to myself" arianna scratched the back of her head.

"no i know, that's the only reason why i didn't kick your door in during that time" finn joked making arianna laugh. "no matter how much i wanted to"

"oh i bet you did" arianna laughed. "i'm pretty sure, if darcy didn't have a spare key i wouldn't have a front door right now"

"probably not" the two laughed for a little while. once they stopped finn spoke up again. "have you seen him lately?"

arianna sighed, "i mean not in person no, but that girl ellie sent me a picture of him in the studio with her last week"

"why?" finn asked as he grabbed some popcorn.

"apparently they're dating" arianna told him.

finn suddenly started choking on the popcorn he was eating making arianna's eyes go wide. she immediately started patting his back until he coughed up the kernel.

"oh my gosh are you oka—"

"they're dating?!" finn yelled.

"is that seriously what you're still worried about after a popcorn kernel took away your oxygen?" arianna questioned.

"don't care!" finn shook his head. "you and corbyn just broke up, what do you mean they're dating?"

"well i don't know for sure, and pais thinks she's lying while darcy isn't too convinced she is, but ellie sent me a picture of them in the studio last week and said that she couldn't believe he was his and called him cute" arianna explained. "now yes, he is indeed very cute and there are so many people who say that seeing as he is famous, but it coming from her was just different than anyone else"

"everyone else doesn't call him theirs either" finn added. "so paislee thinks she's lying while darcy doesn't think she is?"

"mhm" arianna nodded.

"so what do you think?"

"what?"

"do you think ellie is lying?"

"i don't know finn" arianna groaned throwing her head back and closing her eyes for a moment. "on one hand i like to think corbyn cared about me enough to not just jump into a relationship right after our breakup, especially with the person who caused such a rift between us"

"but?" finn asked.

"but in the other hand he allowed this girl to cause that rift" arianna stated. "he continued to hang out with her no matter how many issues she brought to our relationship, so i wouldn't be too shocked if he all of a sudden was with her"

finn shrugged, "i don't know, i would be shocked"

"you would?"

"hell yeah i would" finn said. "every time i was with you guys, that boy was all over you. he never left a room without giving you a kiss first, he always held your hand whenever we went somewhere, whenever you told a story he gave you his undivided attention every single time. he smiled when you smiled, laughed when you laughed, got sad when you were sad... he is in love with you to the fullest extent"

"so if he was to just pull up with this new girl all of a sudden, i doubt that it was his decision. he must've been forced by something"

"like what?" arianna asked voice cracking a little as she fought back tears listening to what her brother was saying.

"i don't know... oh! don't famous people tend to have controlling managements? would his label do something like that?" finn came up with.

arianna shrugged, "i mean i guess that could happen"

"i'm serious ari, i doubt he's with her and if he is there's definitely a lot more to that story" finn assured her.

arianna nodded before she thought of something. "oh! i wrote a song the other day and sent it to my label! and it got approved, i start recording tomorrow!"

"that's amazing ari! i'm so proud of you!" finn congratulated her. "what's it called?"

"drivers license"
