Tommy rested the book on his chest, thinking of what to write back. It was bad enough Ranboo was accusing Dream of being a bad person, now Tommy for being..what was the word? Manipulated? No. He wouldn't stand it.
Why would Dream be bad? He's the only one that came and visited me. Not them. They probably are just trying to hurt me more. Ranboo knows for a fact that I can't stand Tubbo anymore. After all he's done, after all the notes?
Heran his fingers through his hair, not even playing with the idea of what Ranboo was saying. He was infuriated that someone on their side would be accusing his only friend of..what, not being his friend? He wanted to write pages full of bad words, hell, he would see Ranboo again just so he could yell at him for saying that.
He picked the book up again, starting to write a response. He scribbled out the first part of it, trying again a little down the line.
Tommy ended up tearing that page out, not being able to find a good way to put it. His mind started racing again, this time pointing the blame at him.
You are the problem. He probably is right and your just to stupid to realize and admit it. Either way, you deserve what Dream does. You deserved to be exiled. And sure as hell you don't deserve them coming to visit you. Why would they anyway?
He was interrupted by the all to familiar man sticking his head through the cloth, coming in mostly uninvited. Tommy just put the book down and looked up to him.
"Hey Tommy, whatchya- what's this?"
Dream picked up the book lying beside him without waiting for an answer. He examined it quickly before opening.
"It's nothing, don't re-" he stopped himself, knowing Dream was already flipping through the pages. He braced himself, standing in front of him, ready for the lecture.
Dream turned, walking speedily out of the tent, still reading page by the few interactions between Tommy and Ranboo. Tommy followed the man, trying to grab at his book to get it back. Dream momentarily looked up to Tommy, just so he could take the book in and replace it with his axe.
"Drop your stuff, Tommy." He demanded, clearly angry. Tommy only stopped for a minute to stare at Dream in confusion, completing the task rather quickly after. He didn't want to further irritate Dream, as he knew what would happen if he did, especially in this state.
Dream didn't waste time to light up a match, burning the book and throwing it to the ground when it caught on fire. Tommy wanted to step away, but the warmth just seemed to draw him in. A piece of TnT was thrown down, just like the regular process and Tommy was left to stare.
"Back up, Tommy. Stand-"
Dream again had to push Tommy out of the way so neither of them got hit by the explosion. Tommy fell to his back, putting his arms up to protect his face, and scooting his feet in. He flinched when it went off, closing his eyes and staying still.
As Tommy opened his eyes again when he was calm, he only saw Dream standing above him. He was frozen in fear, a lump in his throat preventing him from saying anything.
He wanted to yell out about how he was innocent, he didn't do anything wrong in his eyes, but Dream would take advantage of his frightened state, hoping to teach him a lesson, so this wouldn't happen again. Dream could not have people messing up his plan.
"Tommy, care to explain?" Dream gave him a last word, just to see his thoughts, if he really believed what Ranboo was saying, or if he didn't. It varied how Dream would react.
Tommy sat in silence, staring. He couldn't come up with words, so he tried to push himself away from Dream. He was held back, a foot on his ankle that forced him to stay. It hurt Tommy, but that was the least of his concerns right now.
