It is Friday night and Y/n heard someone dorbells, so she went outside to open the gate. Thinking it's the delivery guy since she ordered for her dinner
Surprisingly it wasn't the delivery guy but her mom
"Mom, what brings you here?" Y/n asked
"Don't ask too much questions and help me get the other groceries at the trunk" Mrs Shin said as she walks inside the house, she nodded and took the groceries
Mrs Shin reached the kitchen and soon as she opens the fridge, she saw it empty but the water bottle
"My god, Y/n! Are you even eating?!" She exclaimed and turned around and Y/n just put down the groceries at counter
"I'm eating mom, I ordered McDonald's mom and it will arrive in some time" She rolled her eyes
"You should eat real foods, Y/n! Not fast food. Thank god I've thought on stopping at the grocery before going here" She shook her head in disbelief as Mrs Shin took out the products she bought
"What brings you here anyways?" Y/n asked as she sat down
"Something has been bothering my daughter, I came here to check on her" She said then sat beside Y/n
"Tell me.. what's up?" Mrs Shin smiled but Y/n is hesitant to speak
"I didn't got to be a mother when you were young, I didn't got to take care of you. Can you please give me a chance to be a mother to you even if you're grown adult... Will you? Tell me what bothers you, I wanna do something for you"
"I'm sorry but.. I don't think I'm ready to talk about it yet" She looked down and Mrs Shin slowly nods as she stroke her hair
Then someone dorbells
"It must be the delivery " Y/n said and stood up
Next day..
*Y/N's POV*
It's 6PM and I just finished taking a bath, Somi's family company will have a party because her dad will retire and will give her the company

Thankfully Somi was by my side and I feel so great that I met her back in college because if she wasn't here I don't know what to do. I have no one to talk to but her
My phone is ringing, it's Somi and I answered it
"Hey" I said as I open the door going to my car
"Where are you now?"
"I'm still at my house" I said and opened the door and get inside my car
"What?!"
"Don't overreact Somi, your party will be held at 8 so I got a lot of time"
