"Could you grab me a water Ranboo? Im so thirsty after this delighted meal."

He was referencing the now crumbs on his plate, the emains of a turkey sandwhich Ranboo had made for Tubbo.

Both of them laughed again, Ranboo bringing himself towards the kitchen.

"Ofcourse, your highness." This caused Tubbo to burst out again, having to cover his mouth to stop. Ranboo was about to grab the glass before they heard a knock, specifically one that wouldnt shut up for a few seconds they waited. Most people they knew would come in. "It's alright man, just stay put. I'll see who's at the door."

Ranboo walked away from Tubbo's bed, going to the door, having to duck down a bit to not hit the top of his head on the door.

He was very tall.

When he opened it, the person in front of Ranboo surprised him. He did not want to see him, and he didn't believe Tubbo did either.

Dream was also surprised, not expecting Ranboo to be at his house. It wouldn't be ideal, but he could work with it.

"Whose there Ran?" Tubbo called out from the other room, catching the attention of the two. Ranboo cautiously looked back at the masked man.

"Just- come in. Make it quick." Ranboo told Dream, getting out pf the way so he could let him in. "It's Dream!" He yelled back to Tubbo.

"Shit." Tubbo muttered, composing himself and sitting up. He took a deep breath, getting ready for whatever he had to say. Tubbo knew it would have to be about Tommy, otherwise he wouldn't come by. Which only meant the burden he had to carry was growing.

"Hello, Dream." Tubbo greeted, weakly standing as he entered the room. Dream nodded with a smile, looking back at Ranboo, who was entering the room.

"Could I..speak to you in private, Tubbo?"

Tubbo nodded, looking over at Ranboo to make sure she was fine with it as well. He turned and walked put without saying another word. Dream gave a small sympathetic smile towards the boy, taking a step closer.

"I'm sure you know what this is about, don't you?" Dream questioned softly, holding his hands together.

"Yes, it's..it is Tommy, isn't it?"

"He wanted me to tell you that he is doing better, and that, if he chooses, he will be returning soon of he keeps this up." This was another lie, all he could tell to keep this going. Yes, it was partially true that Tommy was listening better, but he wouldn't let him return, esspecially not to L'manburg.

"Wait, really? You really think he could come back?" Dream nodded, letting Tubbo be happy. It was all to go to shit soon anyways, and he wasn't that evil. He would let Tubbo have his time before he could have his own.

"He doesn't like..hate me, does he? Last time we spoke, or, or the last letter he gave me- he didn't seem like he would forgive me." Tubbo replied soon after, putting his hand up to rub the back of his neck anxiously.

"I don't know Tubbo. I can't speak for him, but you guys can deal that out. I'm just trying to help you get him back." Dream replied untruthfully, he knew the answer was yes, at this moment, Tommy did hate him. Or who Dream made him seem liked, and he could most definitely get him back with ease, but wasn't going to. Tommy would end up staying there for a much longer time if he got his plans through.

"Well, uhm, thank you for stopping by. I can..I can get to you in a few days if you want. I would really like to visit, you know."

"I know, Tubbo. I just don't want to force Tommy into anything he doesn't want, and I'm sure you don't either."

Tubbo sighed, looking to the ground. He swallowed and glanced back up at Dream, who lied a book on the end of his bed. Dream gave a short nod before exiting, giving Tubbo his space.

Ranboo entered soon after, heading to the kitchen. He grabbed a glass of water, returning with a look behind him to check that the man was gone. He heard everything, and did not believe Dream. He was onto Dream's plan, but didn't know it fully.

"You alright? It was about Tommy, wasn't it? Don't forget, you don't have to do anything. I'm here if you..if you need anything." Ranboo comforted the best he could, putting an arm around Tubbo's shoulders and leading him to sit on the bed again. He handed the water over, accepted by the smaller.

"I'm fine, Ran. It's just..I'm worried. Kinda..scared of what Tommy thinks of me. I mean, we were best friends, but..I'm sorry. I shouldn't be just ranting to you." Tubbo took a sip then set the water down on the night stand, putting his head in his hands, and letting out a heavy, stressed sigh. Ranboo leaned him, guiding him to lay back.

Their feet dangled, and both of them got distracted as Ranboo kicked the others. They both let out a few laughs, letting themselves rest after a minute of playing. Ranboo's feet hit the floor, as Tubbos barely went over the bed post.

Ranboo got Tubbo to stop thinking about it, which was nice. Esspecially with what he wanted to tell him.

"You're fine, Tubbo. I'm here to listen. I don't think Dream is the best dude you should be talking to, though. He's..I don't know. I just think he's lying about something. I wrote Tommy a note and hid it by his ender portal, so hopefully he finds that." Ranboo answered calmly, rambling on to try and keep Tubbo from flipping out on him. It took a minute for Tubbo to process this, but he sat up and looked over at Ranboo, causing him to do the same.

"Why wouldnt Dream be honest? He's just trying to help. And you know he doesn't want us to really talk to Tommy until we can get things sorted out with him coming back." Tubbo denied his accusations, getting a little mad at Ranboo for going behind his back, although he didn't mean to.

"Well, that's kinda what I'm saying. He just..when as he ever tried to help Tommy? He's the one who got him exiled in the first place, not you. He's keeping you guys separated for some..again, I don't know. I just have a feeling he isn't good." Ranboo layer back again, putting his arms up behind his head.

Tubbo scoffed, turning back to look at him before mimicking his actions.

"I guess..I just don't see why he would lie. I mean, he knows I care about Tommy. And I've already exiled him, so why would he care now to help me get him back? It just doesn't make sense."

"I..I don't know, man. Just lie down, rest your brain. You're off work for a reason, man. Stop worrying, one way or another we will get Tommy back. Put some trust in us, Tubbo."

"Your right. Thanks." Tubbo responded softly, looking over at the man and giving a caring smile. Ramboo gladly returned it, trying to push himself up. He was pulled back down, forced to roll over.

Their heads almost bumped into each other, they were so close. Tubbo could hear Ranboo's panting breath, only grinning wildly at him. It was all playful, though. They had been doing this for the past few days, Ranboo never getting tired or less flustered each time Tubbo got this close.

They were the best of friends, even if they just met. It made Tubbo feel better, so why not?

"Just stay the night again. Please?"

"Jesus, Tubbo." He laughed. "I'll stay as long as you need."
