Everyone soon got off the boats and headed inside the halls where a teacher with a pointy hat stood.

"Here, here! My name is Professor McGonagall, and I'm your escort.  Now, first years, follow me as we'll be going to your ceremony on what House you'll be staying at," McGonagall said, getting everyone to follow her.

Once they arrived at what looked like the cafeteria, an old man with glasses spoke. "Hello, my name is Headmaster or Professor Dumbledore. Welcome everyone to Hogwart, young ones!  Here will be an experience that you'll never forget as many talented students will one day change the world. Now, let's start with ceremony, Minerva?"

Professor McGonagall nodded and began speaking the names by alphabet.

"Abbott, Hannah?"

The quads began to zoom out until a certain name was called.

"Bee, Katheren?"

Katheren, nervously, looked at everyone before being seated and having the Sorting Hat placed on top of her.

Usually, the Sorting Hat would take less than three minutes, but surprisingly, the Hat didn't say anything.

'My, my, what a unique mind you have...'

'Oh, I guess you must by the Sorting Hat speaking, correct?' Katheren thought.

'Correct, child. I see you're in pain with what's happening to you...'

'I suppose so... There's nothing really good there, well except my friends. May I ask your name, mister?'

'Not one ever asks for my name, but I'm grateful for being acknowledged, child. My name is Thomas, nice to meet you, young one.'

'Thanks, Mr. Thomas...'

"Such a brilliant mind with a cunning attitude, a kind heart, and bravery skills... Tricky, indeed... Very well, with the knowledge like no other, you'll go to... Ravenclaw!!"

The Ravenclaw table clapped proudly after being praised like that as well as others.

Katheren waved at Danny, Mirabel, and Harry before sitting with some other Ravenclaws.

After a few more names were called, Professor McGonagall then yelled, "Fenton, Daniel?"

Danny hissed at his real name but went up to the stands either way.

The Sorting Hat then was placed on Danny, making another shocking time consumption.

'My, my, another one with a sad past... How dreadful...'

'That's not very nice, mister...?'

'Thomas, another that asks for my name. I meant no harm, child, but you have a terrible past just like the one before...'

'You mean Katheren? You can see her past?!'

'Yes, but I will not share her past, only time will tell...'

'I guess, sorry for coming off strong...'

"It is alright, young one. This one is tricky with a compassionate heart, a stubborn attitude, and enormous courage like no other. Nevertheless, you ought to be in... Gryffindor!"

Unlike Ravenclaw and all the other Houses, Gryffindor exclaimed after being honored by the Sorting Hat.

With some names calling, one stood out particular to Harry, but she didn't know why.

"Malfoy, Draco?"

'For some reason, I kinda like the name...' Harry thought as she stared at the blond hair kid with grey eyes.
