"Sci." The glitching skeleton entered as unceremoniously as ever, not that Sci wasn't used to it by then.

"Error! I haven't seen you in..." Sci turned away from his table, which as always was covered in stacks of paper, to check the calendar, "In about three weeks."

"Yeaaah. Let's just say that I've been busy with AUs. And Ink. And some other Sanses trying to play heroes." Error walked closer to the other, trying to figure out what scientific discovery was being written down this time. He couldn't help it, as a Sans he had a scientific mind.

"Well, I can't blame you. Especially about your job." Sci sighed taking off his glasses to wipe them with his lab coat, only to neatly put them back. "Don't worry though, I've been quite busy myself."

The destroyer merely nodded in acknowledgment, shifting on his legs. Both skeletons were now standing in silence, waiting for the offer that they knew would inevitably arise.

"So, do you wanna go cuddle and talk?" The one to ask was Sci, knowing that his... friend most likely would take his sweet time raising a question about it, if at all.

"Mhm." Truthfully Error didn't need to answer. The reply was already obvious, since they were doing it for far too long to not expect it.

Getting their confirmation from one another both skeletons traveled through the lab for a few minutes, only to find their destination - Sci's room where he rested when he had to take a break from working. Without words the two laid down on the bed, gradually getting closer and wrapping their arms around each other.

"So what exactly has been keeping the almighty destroyer this occupied?" Sci started their conversation, while his hands mindlessly traced shapes onto Error's back.

"I was busy destroying every Underlust I could find. They're disgusting." Error growled, his arms wrapped tightly around the other.

"Well, you know that it's not all that is to this particular universe. Its monsters have been literally injected with liquid lust and it forced them to act the way they do."

"That's why I put them out of their misery. At least half of the reason."

"I know. There are many worlds out there which bring almost only suffering in the long run. Helptale, Dusttale, Killertale, Horrotale... I could go on for the next few hours if I truly tried." Sci's hands gradually stopped and he brought Error closer to himself. Now the black skeleton was lower so Sci could wrap his legs around him and put his chin on top of his head.

"Yeah. I really don't know what those creators had in mind. I guess some of them are just morons." The resident Sans laughed at the comment, making Error smile in amusement. "It's true! What about you? Any fun discoveries regarding the AUs?"

"Not as many as I would like to." Sci admitted, the other closing his eyes in comfort. "But it seems that I have succeeded at correctly calculating the mathematical probability of a universe with everyone being opposites existing."

"So Underswap?"

"Basically."

"Then use simpler words for stars' sake. I don't feel like using my brain right today. So what's the number?" Error mumbled, bumping Sci with his skeletal nose.

"It's 1 divided by 9,109,043,495." The scientist answered simply, his hand on the back of Error's skull, petting it softly. The glitch in turn nuzzled his bones through his clothes.

"Here goes my simplicity." Error yawned, making the other copy the action.

The two skeletons stayed like that for at least a few more hours only to part, knowing damn well that they would do it again.
