"After some thought, we have decided, what is best for our nation," Tubbo spoke loud and bold, Fundy and Quackity smiling behind him. Tommy on the other hand was looking straight at the ground. He had not yet heard of their decision, nor was he high hoped for this to go well. "that he is not exiled."
Dream let out a sigh, raising his arm, as if it was an open invitation. "You have 24 hours." Dream spoke simply to them, a threat that changed all of their proud faces into expressions of worry. Tommy was the bizarre one of the group in this case, again. Tommy had a huge smile on like he was prideful of something.
"We can do this guys!"

It was three days into the war already. After the day before, when Tommy almost got caught by an oppsoing soldier, he was forced to sit out, away from the battle.
People started to get irritated with him anyway, not wanting to fight for this boy who clearly was guilty. Tubbo, as president, stood strong against them, holding up the group to keep going. And Tommy was left to feel guilty by himself, locked in the chambers of his dark room.
He didn't know what to do during the hours. He was stuck in a pitch black room, (as they told him having his lights on would let people onow he was there), and had absolutely nothing in there, except for the occasional food drop offs Tubbo had Niki being by.
Tommy had to deal with the screams and cries around him, along with the explosions that shook the ground. He always flinched when another bomb went off, only reminding him of his deceased brother's actions.
Well, half deceased.
A ghost of the man remained and was nowhere to be seen during this time. He wouldn't have remembered it anyway.
But Tommy, Tommy had to remember.
He had to remember how Wilbur drove himself mad with power, crazy to get back the nation they made. And how he, just soon after, blew it to smithereens in spite of all they worked for.
And he was itching to fight for L'manburg back again.
But he was practically banned from going out of his room. His door was locked from the outside and the window was too high of a jump for any normal person to even attempt.
Although, anyone that knew Tommy could tell he wasn't a normal person. And it was wrong for them to trust him again after this. He would surely prove that.
In Tommy's logic, why would they keep their best fighter out of his war? It didn't make sense to him.
So he left, heading straight to the armoury. He did his best not to be seen by Tubbo, or anyone for that, for they would surely be terribly angry at him.
The way out was simple enough, easy for Tommy, no one watching him up until where all the campsites would be set up. Tommy crawled out of his spot, squinting his eyes at the sun. And for the real first time since Tubbo denied Dream, he smiled.
Tommy made his way past a few of the sites. The medic was far back, and that's where most of the people would be, as everyone else was in battle. He was careful, still, hiding behind certain tents to make sure no one saw him.
He went through part of the woods away from the field of battle, trying to get as close as he could to it so he could see what was going on. He hadn't known many of the people in battle, but he knew Tubbo was out there somewhere, defending him.
The war was in sight when he stepped back out in the open. It was actually a lot closer than he had expected. But the armory was right in front of him. He just needed to make his way over.
