Since I didn't write anything in the past few weeks before Chapter 3 came along, here's Chapter 4 for you, just one day later! I hope you guys enjoy it! xxx

Planning the trip isn't at easy as I thought it would be. There are a lot of things to arrange these days, but Maxon keeps promising that once we sit in our plane to Italy, everything will be more relaxed. I hope, he's right with that.

Gerard and May are acting somehow strange since the accident at the Salon happened. They are trying to avoid Maxon and excuse themselves at the meals very early. I don't know if it's because they are sorry for what happened or if they just don't like him.

I'm sitting at a white wooden table, sorrounded by gorgeous flowerbeds and a few trees, having an early afternoon tea with Marlee. I gave her free time from work for the day, since she's the head maid now.

,, How's Carter doing? ", I ask, smiling and mixing some sugar into my lemon tea.

Marlees' face lights up with joy, just when she hears the name of her husband. I can understand her pretty well. Thinking of Maxon also always makes my heart beat faster.

" He's planning to buy us a small townhouse near the Palace.", she squeals. After our wedding, Carter got back his old position as s guard and he's doing pretty well. " He says it would be a good place to have children at and so on."

Her smiling makes my heart ache. Marlee deserves to be happy after all she's gone trough.

" That sounds wonderful, Marlee." I smile brightly at her. " But I hope you'll still be around so I can call you when I need my best friend! "

We laugh together until I'm suddenly pulled back and lifted up into a pair of strong arms. I now the familiar scent and the feeling of the strong, tense muscles just to well. I wrap my arms around Aspens' neck when he pulls me in for a bear hug.

" Sorry to interrupt you, Mer, but dear Carter wants to see his wife at the kitchen." He looks at Marlee.

Marlee stands up, bows to me and leaves quickly. She nearly runs, as I see her fade away more and more behind the trees of the garden.

I smack Aspen lightly against the chest.

" If only your girlfriend knew!", I scold him playfully.

"Not girlfriend, but fiancé.", Aspen corrects me.

"You asked her?!", I shout. "Why didn't you tell me?!"

Aspen chuckles and looks down at me.

" It happened so fast.", he shrugs. "I had the ring, just in case the right moment would come along soon and when we where on our picnic yesterday, I thought now would be just the perfect moment to ask her. And it seems like I was right."

The lovely look on his face makes me want ti squeal in exitement, but I hold myself back ans just give him a long hug.

"I'm so happy for you, Aspen!" , I announce. " But please, don't make me an auntie to fast, okay? "
