Chapter 6: Apollo

Recap:

"I've been looking for you guys everywhere!" I hear a familiar voice, I then turned around and saw Artemis "My brother is waiting for us in the parking lot, he's coming over for dinner. You'll get a chance to meet him,"

Present:

Herme's POV:

"Oh my gods, what's taking them so long!?" I complained

"Is your schedule that packed? We're making dinner tonight, you could join if you hold your fucking horses," Apollo states

"I thought Artemis didn't like guys at her house..." I stated

"Ah, I think she's a little distracted today," Apollo chuckles

"Really!? But why?" I asked

"She lost her new roommate at the party last night. Apparently, she spent the night with Hades!" Apollo says

"Who's the new roommate?" I asked

"What was it? Some flower Goddess? I dunno. She's new. And some flower nymph servant," he states

"...Do you mean Persephone? And the flower nymph is Y-Y/N," I stuttered

"That's it!" Apollo exclaims "You know them both?

"Lil' bit. Mainly for work. Demeter sends her a lot of letters...And I met Y/N by chance," I said "They're coming,"

I then see Y/N in a beautiful white dress and lovely new ear piercings.

"Dude! They're both smoking hot! Why didn't you say anything!?" Apollo said angrily

I just snickered

"You are such a pain in the ass," he scoffs "Stay in the car!"

I chuckled, I then looked at Y/N once again and sighed happily. I then snuck out of the car

Y/N's POV: 

We made it towards a golden car with a man similar to Artemis standing there. I then see a familiar face sliding down the car. It was Hermes.

"Hermes!" Persephone, then ran towards him, and he ran towards Persephone, he then picks her up

My heart felt a harsh throb and it stang a bit. I then looked up and walked forward with a smile. Hermes was placing his phone number onto Persephone's phone, he then looks up.

"Y/N!" he runs and hugs me "Did you miss me, Doll?"

"Psh- You wished!" I said covering his face with his hair, Hermes then screams in high pitched voice, I chuckled, and he then removes the hair from his face, I then summoned a flower crown on him "But it's nice to see you again,"

"Hey now, how come this guy gets all the compliments and attention?" 

"Persephone, Y/N, this is my brother..." Artemis introduces us to him

He shooked hands with Persephone and then me.

"Apollo," he smirks

Something...felt off with him. We then entered the car and I sat in the middle.

"What was it like anyway? I've never been to the underworld myself," Artemis asks Persephone

"It's beautiful. Nothing like the stories," Persephone says

"Now you really give me the urge to take a look," I tell Persephone

"I can take you there," Hermes looks at me, I then got flustered "I-I mean if you want to,"

"That would be nice," I smiled

"Hades has this amazing house!" Persephone exclaims

"Yeah? I've seen it from the outside," Hermes states

"...and he has all these books, and all-all these dogs," Persephone continues

"Dogs???" I exclaimed with happiness

"And he gave me this beautiful fur coat-" she continues

"It was indeed beautiful-" I agreed

"You know he was only being nice so he could get in your pants, right?" Apollo comments

"Apollo!" Artemis scolds him, Hermes and Apollo burst into laughter, and Persephone was slightly embarrassed

"Don't listen to him Persephone..." I assured her "He's probably just jealous,"

I then looked at Hermes angrily and smacked the flower crown off his head. He then looked sad.

"You don't deserve it anymore," I stuck my tongue out

"Sorry..." he mutters quietly

"That's not true!" Persephone then defends herself "He's- he's my friend!"

"Come on man, she had a good time, just leave it," Hermes says, I then summoned the flower crown back "Yes!"

"No, I'm being realistic," Apollo states

"Being realistic doesn't give you the right to be a down-right jerk," I stated

"So what, nymph..." Apollo scowls

I forgot...I forgot my place in this world. I'm a flower nymph nothing more. And I'm among the place of powerful gods and goddesses. Of course, I'd be treated like this.

"Apollo, treat Y/N with some respect," Hermes then turned to look at me "Ignore him, he's an ass,"

I nodded and gave him an assuring smile.

"We're here! You guys can stop now!" Artemis says kicking the car's ceiling

We then entered the supermarket. I wandered around. I then felt an arm tugging me. I turned around and saw Hermes. 

"Aw...Look who misses me now?" I joked around

"Haha!" he chuckles, he then looked at me with a concerned look "Are you really okay, Y/N?"

"Yes I am," I smiled, I then ruffled his hair "Don't worry much! C'mon let's go buy some food, I'll cook something delicious for you,"

"Aw, man! I forgot how much I miss eating your food!" he says following me

"Haha! What would you like to eat?" I asked

"I like everything you make," he smiles, I felt really touched when he said that

"Thank you," I smiled

Hermes's POV:

Y/N's smile is so precious. It's like as warm as the sun...Not like the Apollo sun...She's so beautiful. I really like her. I would protect her no matter what.

Flashback:

Hermes's POV:

I was really having a shitty day. I sat on the hill of the Mortal Realm, watching the sunset. It was beautiful.

"Now what are you frowning for?" I heard a familiar voice, I turned around and saw Y/N

"I'm having a really shitty day, can you please leave me alone, Doll?" I said turning back toward the sunset, I then felt her leaning her head against my shoulder

"No can do," she says, I then looked at her

"You're lucky that you're cute, or else I would've thrown you off this hill," I said, she then chuckles

"So...What's wrong?" she asks me

"Nothing much, mostly work," I said as I leaned against her

"I see..." she says as she smooths out my hair 

"It feels less shitty now..." I said 

"And why is that?" she asks

"Because you're here," I answered her, she chuckled softly again

"I'm glad that I could help,"
