Mavis always knew there was something wrong with Hawkins. Ever since she moved there in 1982 after her life had turned upside down. People disappeared mysteriously and then came back from the dead, toxic chemicals were leaked, monsters attacked you out of the woods... She had never seen stranger things happen in such a short amount of time and in such a small town.
However, not even in her wildest dreams had she seen the truth coming. And she certainly hadn't expected to be dragged into it along with an athlete, a brain, a basket case and a princess.
