MT: Aethers Legacy

New start

When I finally woke up, I was near a stream in a forest. I heard birds singing and the stream bubbling. I took a deep breath and I breathed in the fresh air from the forest. first thing that I did after waking up was that I touched some grass that I had awoken in. The grass felt strangely soft & wet. After realising what had happened and finally coming to my senses, I began to approach the water stream. I looked in the clear water, and I was taken aback with my looks. Instead of my face, was a random face that I'd never seen before, instead of my blue eyes there were grey eyes, more like silver. Instead of my brown hair, my hair was black. I gently touched my face and watched the reflection follow my movement. I did some random gestures and watched my reflection do exactly what I was doing. I began to investigate my clothing. I wore an ominous black cloak, under it was a grey, long sleeved shirt and dark trousers. On my feet were dark boots. On the ground beside me, there was a shoulder bag. I was curious about what exactly was in my bag, there were a few items. the bag was filled with coins, books and a few fancy scrolls. After taking a good look at my items, I realised the scrolls were actually Emperor Class Healing Magic Circles . As for my skill Aether had taught me, he said I would be between emperor and god class in magic.
As for my skill Aether said i would be between emperor or god class in magic. And as for the style i made it after Aether pointed some good ideas to me. In the last test with him he said it was very strong when i asked how much he said that he knew every art of fighting before he spared with me. Aether said he cant rank my Fighting style due to how abnormal it truly was.
I went through the forrest and followed the stream down.  After few hours  i ran into a village. As i got closer i realized it was a beast village.  I was really near it i could see the houses up in the trees when i realized i was being followed. I turned arround and saw two beast men with their swords ready trying to sneak up on me.

"You dont have to sneak  i saw you!" i screamed their way. It was quiet for few moments but then i saw then getting out of the cover and rushing at me.  

"Stop please! i just want to ask where am i" i shouted at them. They didnt mind my words and continued rushing at me. I sighed and i pulled out my sword and i took a stance for a few moments.  They got closer and closer, 20 meters, 15 meters, 10 meters i got nervous and started to summon a barrier infront of me. 5 meters. barrier was up. 4 meters, 3 meters,2 meters i was prepared for a impact of the sword and then i heard hollow sound *thught* their swords shattered on the barrier and fell to the ground.  They stopped dead in their tracks and looked at me.

"May we please talk before we fight?" i asked.
"Who are you?" they asked while still being shocked from what happened few moments ago.
"I am" i said then i realize that i dont have a name to go by in this new world.
"Yes you are?" they asked.
"I am Maverick Grey" i slipped out of my mouth i had no idea where i got that name from.
"So Maverick Grey ? Mind telling us  what are you doing here?" one of them asked.
"I wanted to asked about my location. You see i got lost and i dont know where am i" i lied a little but it was more believable then saying that god had sent me here.
"You are near Dedoldia village." one of them answered. "Mind telling us how you got here?" he asked back.
"I woke up nearby  after some trouble at the road i fell asleep" i lied to them.
"You dont look like you are from nearby judging by your clothes." one of them said. 
"You are right i am from really far from here i just want to pass to the nearest the port" i said.
"You mean Zanto port right?" one of them asked.
"Yes" i answered.
"Hmmm i see, did you ran into somebody out here?" one of them asked.
I shaked my head "sorry you are the first one i saw in some time, that reminds me i kinda forgot what year is it, mind you telling me?" i asked and i started to think a little.
They starred at me for a while and then they answered "Its year 398 according to Armored Dragon King Calendar."
"year 398" i  said under my breath.
"Something is wrong?" They asked me curriously.
I shaked my head "N-nothing just it has been quite a while since you know i spoke with someone".
"Oh alright, so you want to continue or would you like the night in  our village? its getting quite late and i think you will not make it to the port while it is still bright out here" one of them said.
"If i wont bring you trouble with this i would like to stay for a night." 
"Dont worry you wont be" they said as we climbed up to the houses.

We arrived at one of the houses "Stay outside" they said to me and then went in.
I waited few minutes before they emerged from the house and came back to me with what appeared to be a chief of the village.

"Greetings" i said and i bowed a little.
"Greetings to you too Maverick" He asnwered politely.
"Mind telling me what are you doing in Great Forrest and especialy near our village?" He asked.
"I got lost while heading into the Port, the Zanto port" i answered.
"So you are not a smuggler or a mercenary?" He asked me with a serious look in his face.
I shaked my head "No i am not affiliated with any of these groups."
"Hmmm alright i will allow it you can spend the night in our village but in the morning you will leave understand?" he said calmly.
"Yes i dont plan to stay in here anyway" i answered.
"Good" he said. "If you are hungry you can join me for a dinner" he continued.
I nodded "i would be pleased if i could eat something i feel like i didnt eat in ages" i said.
"Good then follow me."  he gestured to one of the houses.
We entered the house he pointed to well all of them were more like a hutts but this one was bigger all of them made of wood.

Inside was made out of wood there was a big table in the middle then there were  few beds in the corner and infront of the table was a place for a bonfire.

He sit down in the head of the table and then gestured me to sit. I slowly sat down onto the floor beneath me. I waited for a while   then he extended his hand and lit the fire in the bonfire.

"Now do you need something for a drink?" he asked me.
I shaked my head "no thanks i got it" i said and then i summoned a waterball and drank from it.
"Hmm they told me you can do voiceless incantation i didnt belive it but i see you can do it" he said with an admiration. 
"Thanks" i answered.

After we finnished our meal i was feeling little bit sleepy so i asked for a bed  i stayed in his house for a night. Next day i woke up i had breakfast with the Village chief and then i waved goodbye to them and i embarked on a journey to Zanto port.
