"we'll see about that." she laughed as she joined them doing whatever they were doing.

"so what are we doing?" she asked as she snatched the binoculars from the boy on her left, steve on her right as she kneeled in between them.

"anyone who looks russian?"

"very stereotypical but i'm guessing blonde, glasses and a bag?''she asked and both boys flattered as her eyes followed someone. matching her description was a man walking in the mall. carrying a blue bag that had sunglasses on inside and long blonde hair.

"yeah?" steve mumbled looking at her, she did look really pretty today. her hair was tied up, cherry earrings hanging from her ears. and that's when he noticed something. the lack of the necklace she had been wearing for the past few days.

"ten o'clock. sam goody's" and steve snatched the binoculars. looking in the direction the girl had been looking in. blonde, bag and glasses.

oh shit." he spat as he looked at the two kids beside him.

"evil russian." steve and dustin mumbled at the same time and she rolled her eyes.

"piper, it's your turn to shine." steve smiled looking at her as her brows furrowed slightly.

"maybe he's desperate?" he asked as dustin tried to argue against it, the girl remaining silent till that comment was made. eyes blown wide slightly.

"do you want to fucking die?" but he didn't change his mind instead still smiled as she stood up.

"god, you're such a fucking idiot." she spat as she stormed away.

"okay, i think we established that i'm an idiot but my point still stands." he shouted after her, changing his mind and trailing behind her. piper turning right as they went left up the elscaters. watching as they pretended to be on the phone as he turned to look at him. and piper smiled. her turn to china. bumping into the guy, slipping the drink she had just stolen of someone all over them.

"oh my, i'm so sorry sir." she exclaimed as she picked up her cup straight away as he removed his glass to get a better look at the girl which had just bumped into him.

"it's no problem gorgeous. i should be taking more care of where i'm going. can i buy you another drink." he smiled. as he looked her up and down, grinning ear to ear. and she grinned, but for another reason. as usual she had been right. he was an english speaker.

"oh no, it's completely okay. i need to head to work." she laughed and he took the now empty cup dropping it into the bin for her as he walked away towards the shop he wanted to be at. jazzercise as steve and dustin ran up to her. watching as he started working with the ladies. noticing they were just staring at their arses and she walked away. harrington just didn't make sense sometimes. heading back to the ice cream parlour. finding robin leaning on the counter with a slushie as she read whatever was on her paper.

"hey rob! whatcha reading?" piper shouted as she entered the shop, joining robin who smiled as she joined her.

"the week is long. the silver cat feeds when blue meets yellow in the west. a trip to china sounds nice if you tread lightly.” robin repeated the words written on her page, it must have been what she translated from the audio playing on the walkman. raminding of her own that was in her bag. but a knocking at the backdoor cut the two off as they sat there repeating the words. robin disappeared into the back as piper was quick to put on the alkman. listening  to the words and the words written once more. and robin called her. the girl joined her as she just stared at the man walking away.

"a lynx? what type of animal is it?'' robin asked as he just walked away, the girl looking in the same direction. a lynx delivery driver with his trolley of parcels.

"a silver cat?"

"a silver cat!'' robin repeated and the two girls looked at each other. before running back into the shop. robin grabbed the walkman as she grabbed the notepad. rushing past steve and dustin who were talking about something neither of them cared to catch as they rushed past.

both girls running into the middle of the mall, looking around for something. for anything else that is linked to the words. maybe steve was right last night, about it being in the mall robin wondered.

"a trip to china sounds nice.'' robin mumbled looking around for anything along the balcony to link with china, piper tigging on the girls shorts pointing in the direction of a shop. imperial panda takeaway.

"if you tread lightly. shoes? a shoe shop?'' piper spoke the next line in the pattern before looking up to robin who's eyes had landed on the kaufman shoes shop up on the balcony floor.

"when blue and yellow meet in the west." piper read again. once again looking up to robin who was already looking up at the big clock hung on the wall. yellow and blue, the hands of the clock.

"robin, piper. what's wrong with you two?'' steve shouted as he ran over to the two girls. one looking back down at the notepad reading the code as robin repointed it all out. double checking.

"we cracked it." robin smiled, lightly punching piper's arm as she dropped off the wall to stand beside her.

"robin cracked it actually." piper was quick to add. with a kind smile.

"cracked what?" he asked, throwing a confused look to dustin who only shrugged his shoulders.not knowing what was wrong with the two girls.

"we cracked the code.'' robin spoke again adding emphasis on the word we in her sentence and steve eyes were blown wide. maybe the two girls were smarter than they looked, smarter then then made you believe.
