History: The history of Harding Oil began in 1901 when the celebrated Paul D. Harding incorporated his business in New York. In the mid-1920s, with the support of the Kühns, he expanded sales abroad, to countries such as Holland, Belgium, and Italy. He was the most important figure in shaping the oil and gasoline industry and, today, Harding is the largest company in terms of revenues in the world, moving a total of 398 billion assets. The reserves are all over the globe and hold 17% of the world's production. Harding Oil also owns Harding Company, the largest producer and marketeer of concentrated phosphate and potassium.
