9. 𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐀

𝘓𝘺𝘥𝘪𝘢 𝘙𝘰𝘴𝘦'𝘴 𝘗𝘖𝘝 :

I know I'm on the dark side, the evil side but it for my own good. It was for my safety, I knew that if I didn't go with him in the early apocalypse time. I would have been torn apart and eaten by zombies. I always trusted him, and that him was Caleb Thompson, he had such a pure sweet heart. I sorta knew Caleb before the apocalypse a little bit.

But now he has changed into some demon, some leader that has nothing better to do then watch people suffer, and to kill for fun. I lost my sister 2 months ago in the apocalypse because of Caleb Thompson it was between me and her and he killed her right in front of me, shot her in the face. It was so horrifying I couldn't sleep for days for weeks, even months.

I cried every time I saw Caleb even near me, he laughed at me called me a wimp. He told me this was for my own good to toughen me up for the apocalypse, I believed him. He had a point for half the stuff he did, we needed to learn to loose to go through pain or else we are just nothing in a world where people are dying more and more in the blink of an eye, he told me all the time.

I felt so alone in the community until I met Autumn who showed up a week or two after I arrived with my sister, she is sweet and definitely follows by Caleb's rules more. I guess you could say she is one of his favourite's knowing she hasn't had to suffer as much as I had because of Caleb, but I know deep down she doesn't wanna have to go through the stuff everyone else does.

I try to talk to her convince her that she can talk to me if he has ever done anything secretly to her, but she just smiles at me and shakes her head before walking away leaving me their shocked, a month or two later a boy showed up with brown hair and a long sleeve cyan shirt, his name was Mason Harris. He and I talked for a while when he first showed up he was tied up in his hands by Caleb's men, and thrown into a cell.

Until he was proven trustworthy to Caleb, he stayed in the cell for about two weeks until Caleb finally had him wrapped around his finger and toughened him up enough to do proper work. Mason and I always talked secretly at night about the horrors we had to go through, we both had gone through the same thing. Mason talked about how he was taken from his camp as he had to watch the whole camp burn down into a crisp from the roaring flames.

He said he watched his parents get killed, along with his little brother who was only 10 years old. Who was sliced directly in the chest and fed to a bunch of zombies. Mason was forced to watch it all happen and he says he has been plotting revenge ever since he arrived but he knows he's to weak to stand up and fight him. Yesterday I was up in the watch tower all alone when I saw two cars show up to the community not to far away, I grabbed my walkie talkie when I heard people talking on it.

I tried to warn them not to show up, they seemed to have listened until Caleb had taken me away to go on a zombie watch with the group, I thought those people were safe until suddenly I was their standing outside of a barn at midnight as Caleb had broken into the barn with his men, and there sat 7 frightened people, I shook my head disappointed as me and Autumn took their stuff.

I had gone down to the cell they were placed in, the large one that Caleb kept me and Mason in when we first arrived. I placed their belongings in front of the cell door like I was asked, I kept noticing the way this one blonde boy would look at Autumn as she looked over at him sometimes.

I talked to them for a while until I left the room, " wait who is Caleb Thompson! " was the last thing I heard before I shut the door behind me. All I know is these people better stay serious or a few of them are gonna die tonight or tomorrow.
