Recap:
Artemis then taught us how to use our phones. We then hear the doorbell ring.
"I wasn't expecting anyone today. Who could that be?"
Present:
Y/N's POV:
Artemis opened the door really loudly and there revealed a pink man with wings.
"Eh...Hello Artemis..." he says
"Eros? What in the fuck do you want?" Artemis scowled
"It's you!" Persephone pointed out
"Perse, remember what I told you about pants..."
"YOooOoOoou!" Persephone sneers
"May I come in? I just want to explain myself!" Eros asks
"For what?" I asked curiously
"Men are forbidden in this house," Artemis says angrily
"But I have apology donuts!" he begs, and then Artemis cracked and let him in
"No wings in the house. I just vacuumed," she says
"Heh, silly me," he then puts his wings away "Better?"
"Eros, you said you wanted to explain yourself. Why would you do this to me?" Persephone asks
Eros sighs and explains everything. By the end of his talk about his love and his mother, he broke down.
"That is complete bullshit!" Artemus yells
"Um, excuse me? I'm heartbroken and grieving over here,"
"You kidnapped some poor mortal woman!"
"No, I rescued her!"
"You imprisoned her!"
"Please calm down..." I tried to calm Artemis down, Eros then broke down into a sob "Oh Eros...I found that story touching..."
"You did?" he asks, I nodded my head, and I then handed him a cup of tea "Thank you,"
"I know it may seem overwhelming right now...If I were lucky to have somebody love me, I would try everything to make it work. You're lucky to have that even if it hurts," Persephone states
"You don't know what you're talking about..."
"I don't...Nobody is ever going to love me in that way," she says "That's not something I get to have..."
"Wait...You're"
"I am fated to live my life in the service of others and that's ok," she assures him
"How about you?" he then looks at me
"No...I'm just a servant who serves her," I said looking away
Yes, I'm able to have a relationship with people, and I'm lucky for that. But will I ever have the time? I'm a flower nymph...I'm not an immortal, so if I die one day and the person I love is immortal...They'll be miserable and they'll be left with nothing, but empty memories...
"I'm really sorry about everything. I know it may not seem like it...But I am," Eros states
"It's fine, I'll forgive if you put your number on my phone," Persephone assures him
"Sure," Eros agrees, he then looks at me "Would you like it too? Oh right...What's your name?"
"Y/N," I stated
Eros then typed in his phone number on both of our phones. We then all chilled on the couch and Persephone placed her legs on his.
"So...How was he?" Eros asks
"Persephone, don't use Eros as a cushion," Artemis sighs
"There is nothing to tell," Persephone states
"You...are stingy with details," Eros pouts
"He gave her a lovely white fur coat," I told Eros
"...Can I see it?" Eros asks, Persephone nods and shows him to her room and showed the coat
"Oh my gods! It's beautiful!" Eros says wrapping it around him "Do you realize...That the buttons are diamonds! Can I have it?"
"No! It's mine!" Persephone shouts "Sorry. It's just the only modern thing I own besides a few basic items. Y/N and I never really gone shopping-"
Eros then looked at both of us.
"Oh no..." Artemis mutters under her breath
30 mins later:
Y/N's POV:
We ended up at a place called a "mall"? It was quite nice. I then see something that catches my eye, it was a beautiful short white dress with ruffles on the bottom and puffed sleeves.
"Ok, so I have a basic list of things I need to pick up," Persephone states
"Oh my gosh, I love lists!" Eros says sarcastically, and throws it away "This away! <3"
"That list had my emergency contacts on it..." Persephone states
"Stay with Artemis, Y/N! I'll be dressing you up soon," he winks and runs off with Persephone, leaving me with Artemis
"So...Artemis, what do you do in a mall?" I asked as I looked at her anxiously
"You can do a lot of things! I'll show you around, you wanna grab something to drink?" she asks, I nodded, and she then takes me to a place called Boba Tea
"One matcha boba tea, vegan," Artemis says "And one regular boba please,"
She then pays the person, and a few minutes later we have obtained the boba tea.
"Take a sip," Artemis urges me, I took a long sip, "So what do you think?"
"It's delicious!" I gasped happily and I continue to drink it
"I'm glad you like it, how about we take a seat next to the water fountain?" Artemis asks, I nodded my head, and we then sat down at a table "So...Y/N, how did you become Persephone's servant?"
"Well, it's kind of a long story..." I explained
I was born three years before Persephone. Lady Demeter kept care of me, she considered me a...fast learner, I suppose...I was able to do a lot of simple tasks at a young age...
I was one of the few flower nymphs who are able to use manipulative powers, which is growing plants.
Lady Demeter found me very peculiar...I was able to control my powers at the age of 1. I was then assigned to work for her at the age of 2.
It was nothing much though...I just helped grew flowers around the mortal realm. I also helped with the farming of barley, although I wasn't much help due to my small size, I often get lost in the fields.
When I was 3 years old, I was able to talk and write. And during that time, Persephone was born. Persephone, well she was called Kore at birth.
