The next morning, Jimin nearly turns off his alarm in his sleep because he didn't get much rest.
He couldn't stop worrying about Evelyn and Jungkook.

He realizes that this part of his personality is great - most of the time - but sometimes, it feels like a curse. Sometimes, he can't get other people's problems out of his mind, especially when he can't help them move on from those problems.

After getting ready and getting coffee ready for him and Evelyn, he walks outside and frowns when he sees his neighbor laying in her yard, staring at the darkening sky above her.

He walks up to her after setting his stuff in his car and smiles down at her before kneeling next to her, careful not to get a grass stain on his slacks.

"Are you okay?" he asks, holding her coffee in his hand.

"No," she answers after a moment of silence. Her eyes won't meet his; instead, she is staring at the gray clouds swirling over her. "I don't think I ever will be, so you don't need to keep asking."

Jimin wants to ask about her brother, but he doesn't want to upset her further, so he just sighs and holds the coffee out in front of him. "Drink this, and get inside before it rains. You don't want to catch a cold. Okay?"

"Sure," she says in a soft voice, reaching out to take the coffee from his hand. Jimin stands up, looking down at her again.

"Please," he says, sending her one last smile before he goes to get into his car, hoping that she will go inside where it's warm and safe.
