"No problem, I'll make it extra quick just for you girls" he said winking really pervertedly, and he walked off towards the kitchen.
"Ummm, thank you?" Mia said.
Maddie had a disgusted look on her face, looking after the man.
"What a creep." She muttered.
Ashlynn burst through the door to see the creepy man looking her up and down. Her eyes widened as she was clearly creeped out by the man. She crossed her arms over her chest as he lowered his gaze a little from her face. The man gave her the same creepy wink that he gave to the others as she looked at him in disgust and turned on her heel as she spotted the girls.
"Creepy guy alert much" Ashlynn said looking back at the guy.
"I know right, but he's the one serving us so I didn't say anything, you never know he could like, spit in our drinks or like..." Olivia started babbling on about what else he could do when he came back with the drinks. He smiled looking down at everyone whilst giving out the drinks. When he got to Ashlynn, he touched her bare leg ( she was wearing shorts) and said "would you like to order anything, beautiful?"
She got closer to him "yes actually I'd like to order you to get the hell out of my face and never EVER touch me again or I'll call the cops. Got it?" She said, beyond pissed. He nodded, gulping and almost ran off. Ashlynn tutted and looked at the girls, who weren't surprised. Ashlynn was always nice and caring and also assertive, but when it came to men, flirting or anything of the sort, or if she felt the need to defend, when she wasn't in the mood for it, which is pretty much never, she could be really aggressive. Which was good sometimes.
"Dayum" Mia said.
They quickly ate their food when another waitress sent it over and not the guy. 5 minutes later they got up and left, not turning back to look. They got into the car and Ashlynn immediately turned on the engine and drove off. It was now 9 o'clock and they still had two hours and a bit to go till they get to San Diego. So Maddie was already asleep, leaning on the side of the car, Olivia looking out of the car and Mia just resting her eyes, until Olivia burst out into a cry.
"SHIT." she said her eyes wide in shock.
"SHIT SHIT SHIT!" she carried on.
"What is it!?" Mia asked her quickly.
"I LEFT MY FUCKING PHONE IN THE DINER!!!"
When Olivia swears you know stuff got real. Same with Ashlynn, who had sighed and without warning did a 'u-turn' at the round-a-bout conveniently in front of them.
"STEP ON IT!" Olivia yelled to Ashlynn
"Okay okay calm down." She said smiling slightly, not phased by her hysterical behaviour.
They were in the car for 10 minutes more when Ashlynn caught sight of the same gas station. She turned in once again and as soon as she parked up Olivia literally jumped out of the car and ran into the diner. All the girls turned around from their parking space towards the door. They went to follow Olivia into the diner when Mia stopped in her tracks. She was looking straight over at it, her face resembling to when you've just realised you've locked yourself out of the house. That bad. Maddie followed her gaze when her face did the same. She nudged Ash to look. The familiar yellow convertible parked a few spaces away from them. Mia looked over at everyone as she came back to her senses.
"Oh. My. God." Maddie said breathing out.
Ashlynn put her head in her hands and shook her head. They all then quickly followed Olivia from where she went into the diner to see her bending down under the table frantically rummaging around the seats at the table they sat at. The creepy guy made an appearance again, as he looked down, seeming to be having a field day staring at Olivia's butt when she had bent down looking for her phone. Mia turned around and glared at him. He put his hands up and walked away, back into the kitchen.
