The Original Bad Boy

Chapter Two

"I don't see what was so important that it couldn't be left until the morning," Klaus said, raising his voice.

"Awh, is that really the welcome home present I get, a bad mood? Really, I expected more from the all-powerful hybrid," I cut in before anyone else could say anything; he looked up from his phone and smiled widely at me.

"Sorry if I didn't get the memo love, been a bit preoccupied," he replied. It was then that I noticed another person had come in behind him.

A younger guy, I'd say about the same age as me, brown hair and brown eyes; enough to make a soppy teenage girls heart melt. But I have to admit, he was looking good, like something out of the swimwear part of a catalogue.

"I saw no need to send such an old form of communication," I said as I walked up to hug him as he spans me around whilst in his arms.

"This is what you called me over for?" Klaus pointed to me but the question was for everybody else.

"Calm your hybrids, she only just got here like the rest of us," Damon smiled at him, there was no niceness to it but I saw a smirk coming on.

"I'm sorry, should I leave?" The brown haired mystery boy said from behind me and Klaus.

"Yeah," I heard everyone mutter from inside the living room, I'm guessing that he's not a very popular guy; the other hint is also that he hasn't been invited into the house.

"And the rude, annoying and obnoxious being in the doorway is?" I asked Klaus as I broke away from his grasp.

"My apologies love, Harley this is my younger brother Kol. Kol, this is my, how do I describe you?" He stopped and pondered.

"I'm your best friend in the whole universe that you love and cherish more than anything else in the whole entire world," I offered.

"Yes, Harley is that," Klaus finished with a smile.

I knew Klaus since last year, along with Elijah and Rebekah but that's that only family I've heard about. We didn't exactly get on first time round but in the end I clicked with all three of the originals, I was a little interested to how Kol was going to turn out.

"Okay, as nice as this is, we actually have real problems," Stefan motioned everyone over to the sofas. We all followed his orders and made our way through the hall to sit down.

"Hello? Forgetting something here?" Kol called through to us as he motioned that he couldn't pass through. I thought I should mess with him a little, so before anyone could get up I vampire sped towards the door until I was literally inches away from where Kol was standing.

"Name, age, why you're here and what you are," I demanded folding my arms over my chest.

"You're kidding me right?" he laughed back in my face.

"Sorry to break it to you but she doesn't kid," Caroline yelled through from the living room. I smiled as I conformation and raised my eyebrows towards his, waiting for my answer.

"Fine. Kol Mikealson, twenty, important meeting arranged and an original vampire," he finished. I stepped back a little and looked him up in down, not showing if I was impressed or not. "So do I pass?" he asked.

"I don't do other vampire's," I said.

"But there's a room full of them behind you," he complained.

"I have favourites," I said before shutting the door in his face. I walked back to join the others feeling slightly pleased with myself and stood back where I was before.
