3rd POV:
They land safely in the water below them, uninjured but not safe yet. They still had to make it out of the city and get Newt the serum.
When they break through the water and look up, they see Janson looking down at them. Thomas couldn't help but put his middle finger up at Janson as he swam to the side of the pond.

Thomas got out first and helped Newt out.
As Newt got out of the water, he started to feel a lot worse. The black veins were crawling up his neck and he was trying so hard to not let it affect him. A part of him wished he told Ada because she told him about her being pregnant, something not even Thomas knows. She sounded so excited that he would be their babies uncle. His heart breaks when he thinks about how she is going to react to his death and the fact that he is never going to meet his niece or nephew.
He pushes those thoughts to the back of his mind when he looks up at Thomas and Minho. He can't think like that, not yet.
"Minho, you okay?" Thomas asked, as Minho got out of the water beside Newt.
"Yeah."
They turn around when they hear guns cocking and see four guards walking towards them.
"You three, don't move!" One of them says.
"Oh, you gotta be kidding me." Thomas mutters.
"Take it easy." A guard says as they walk up to the three.
Thomas reaches down to get his gun but one of the guards saw what he was doing.
"Uh-uh-uh. Don't even think about it. Get on your knees with your hands in the air." One of the guards says when they have surrounded the three boys.
All of a sudden, one of the guards, on the far right, turns around and starts to shoot at the other guards.
"You son of a bitch." One of the twitching guards says.
Thomas, Newt and Minho look at the guard in shock, wondering why he did that. The guard ran over to them and pulled off his mask to reveal Gally.
Thomas and Newt let out a sigh of relief but Minho looked at Gally in shock, not knowing he was alive.
