Y/n's POV
A few days later it was time for my performance. I got on stage and saw everyone in their places. As soon as the music started, I danced. I wasn't nervous at all, I felt a little relived even when I knew some people were going to die. The revenge would be so sweet, finally getting back at all the people who tried to break me down and kill me. They would soon burn in hell with their son. I moved gracefully with the music and felt the Marvolos' gaze on me. They didn't have a clue what was going on yet. I did my turns just like in rehearsal and started doing the slow spins. I saw some people moving in the audience and I knew it was happening soon. I saw the light reflecting from knives and I knew it was almost over. I didn't see anything happen yet so I guess they were waiting for the perfect moment. I did my full extension and the spin. I lowered my leg and turned across the stage, doing a few arabesques. I then got to the other side of the stage and prepared for the grand jeté. I was about to move but I heard something in the crowd. I softly shifted to the side a bit. I had almost gotten shot. I saw Mr. Marvolo and he looked vexed. He was about to get up but a knife glided across his throat and he had dropped to the ground. As he was falling, I did my grand jeté perfectly and stuck the landing. No one had noticed that he was dead yet, I then continued my routine with satisfaction.
William's POV
I killed Mr. Marvolo and then gave Bond the signal. I glanced at Y/n on the stage. Her movements were truly mesmerizing, I could understand why Albert was in love with a woman like Y/n. I walked away from Mr. Marvolo's body and went back to my seat to watch the performance. She was aware of his death but it didn't bother her. Albert, Louis and I continued to watch her performance for a little longer. Her black outfit looked nice, as it contrasted the white lights. I could tell that she put her heart and soul into her performances. I looked over at Albert and he looked like he forgot what he was there for. An idea popped into my head. Louis took off his glasses and that was the signal. I heard muted bullets being shot and the sound of knives slashing. Bodies were dropping to the ground and screams started to be heard. I smiled to myself.
Y/n's POV
The real thing happened and all chaos broke loose. Ms. Lawrence looked at me and made sure I was okay to keep performing. I nodded and continued to dance. The musicians did not have a clue yet. I danced to the downfall of the Marvolo name. I saw lights flashing in the audience, someone had taken photos of all the damage.
"Miss L/n, we're going to need you to stop, people have passed away in the audience" an usher told me. "Y/n I agree, don't do this to yourself. I know you've worked hard, I know" Ms. Lawrence said to me.
I stopped dancing and walked backstage. I got myself to break into tears and tried to come up with something.
"Y/n don't cry, I know you've been through a lot lately" Ms. Lawrence tried to comfort me. "I wanted to give them one last show and then they died in front of me" I sobbed.
I felt someone larger than me wrap their arms around me.
"It's okay Y/n, you worked hard" I heard Albert's voice.
I looked up to make sure I wasn't dreaming. He was right there holding me close to him.
"I'll take her home Ms. Lawrence" he said to her.
I got my coat and changed my shoes before we went to his mansion. The ride there was silent for the most part.
"Thank you" I said to him. "For what?" he asked "For getting me out of there" I said. "No problem" he replied. "Why do you guys do this?" I asked him. "There are some people who don't deserve to walk on this Earth. If no one is gonna punish the corrupt rich, then we have to" he explained to me while looking me in the eyes.
I actually felt kind of intimidated by him. Knowing that I could easily be killed by him and his brothers.
"Are you scared of me?" he asked me.
I opened my mouth to speak but he had more to say.
"Be honest" "I'm not scared of you, I'm scared of what you could do" I replied to him. "You know I wouldn't hurt you, right?" he asked me. "Are you sure?" I asked him. "I wouldn't dare, that man has already put you through so much" he put his hand on my cheek but I didn't mind. "I wish we could be together" I said to him. "Can we enjoy the time we have together before you actually have to marry someone?" he asked me.
I nodded before my lips came close to his.
Knock knock knock
"Ya done in there?" I heard Sebastian's voice.
The door to the carriage started to open. When he saw us, his eyes widened.
"My bad" he apologized. "You didn't see this" Albert spoke sternly. "You're right, I was never here" Moran replied nervously before walking back in the mansion. "I'm sorry Y/n" he apologized to me. "For what?" I asked him. "Falling in love with you, this shouldn't have happened" he explained to me. "I don't care if it's wrong, I love you Albert Moriarty" I actually started to cry. "So do I but I'll do you more harm than good" he said before leaving me.
The carriage then rolled away and I quietly sobbed. Out of all the things that happened to me, this hurt the most. He lied to me without realizing it.
