Today I was babysitting my five year nephew Tom because my sister was going for a job interview two hours away.
Tom and I were really bored , he kept moaning about how boring i was and that he wanted Cameron to come over, i didn't call Cameron over because I thought he would be busy.
After 10 minutes Tom forced me to ring him so I did.
*on the phone
(C = cam/m= me)
M:"Hey cam"
C: " hey baby , what's up"
M: " I was just wondering if you could come over, I'm babysitting Tom and he want you to play with him and he said I was too boring ." I said laughing
C:"hahaha , of course I'd love to be there in 10 "
M:"thanks , means a lot to me byee"
C:"Byeee babe see ya soon "
End of conversation
10min later ...
I opened the front door while I was carrying Tom on my hip ,as I opened the door I saw my gorgeous boyfriend standing in front of me. Cameron engulfed me into a hug and pecked my lips , then looking over to Tom.
"Hey little man ,I heard you was bored " Cameron said smiling
"Can we play outside Cameron pleasssseeee" Tom said whining
" Come on then , would you like to join us ?" Cameron asked me , while grabbing Toms hand.I shook my head and said ,
" I'm sorry guys I seriously need sort out this place and make dinner" you replied
They both frowned and ran outside!
30 minutes later...
I heard screaming coming from outside,
" Ahhhhh my k-kneeee" Tom cried
I ran outside and saw Tom laying on the grass crying.
" WHAT HAPPENED , ARE YOU OKAY ??!!"
I practically shouted, getting really scared.
" W-we where p-playing football and I-I tripped" Tom said crying even more. I kissed him on the forehead and wiped his tears and looked over to Cameron his face was down, he looked shaky and worried. As I lifted his face up I said,
" would you help me carry him inside and clean up his leg?" I said calmly. He nodded and did as I asked.
After taking Tom inside and cleaning up the blood on his knee , I realised that I may have over exaggerated and made Cameron feel bad for not looking after him properly .
" All done" I said
" Thank you" Tom said tiredly while drifting of to sleep on the coach. Cameron still looked upset.
I took Tom upstairs and kissed him goodnight , then I went into my bedroom where I saw Cameron facing the opposite way sniffing , when i heard this my heart dropped!
I walked over to Cameron and said
" hey baby , are you okay ?" While stroking his hair. No reply.
Then I gestured him to sit up , then he sat on the bed facing you with watery eyes!
Then quietly he said "I know it was all my fault if only i..." I cut him off
" Shhh, it wasn't your fault . Things like this happen he is only child" I said reassuring him
" Tom loves you as much as he loves me , don't ever blame your self again, okay ..." I said cupping his cheek and wiping away the tears then kissing his soft lips !
Cameron gave me a smile and we cuddled then fell asleep in each other's arms
