3rd POV:
While Thomas and Ada were talking to each other, Gally saw Teresa try to take a bandage that had Thomas' blood on it. He moves over to her and grabs her arm before she can reach it.
"Nice try." He says. He doesn't let go of her arm but pushes her along and away from all the medical things.

Thomas walks over to where Brenda was with everything they need after Ada walked off from their conversation.
"You were in love with her, weren't you?" Brenda says.
"I think at some point I convinced myself I was but after I met Ada, I knew she was the one I was looking for. Back in the maze I would dream about a girl with dark hair and bright eyes, when Teresa came I thought it might have been her. But as time went on I realised it wasn't. Then we met Ada and you guys in the scorch and I immediately felt a connection to Ada and I knew she was the girl from my dreams and my memories, I just felt it. But now, I don't know what's happening. She keeps saying that there is something going on between Teresa and I." Thomas vents to Brenda.
"I don't know what to say but from the sounds of it, you love Ada with your whole heart. Teresa was a pit stop on your way to finding Ada and you never did anything with Teresa, right?"
"No."
"And when you think about a future, although it may be hard at the moment, who do you picture?"
"Ada. It's always been Ada." Thomas says.
"Then you have your answer." Brenda says.
Thomas carries on getting ready, taking the gun Brenda gives him before walking over to Ada again. She needs to know how he really feels, without any doubt, before all this goes down.

"Ada, can we talk?" He asks her, interrupting her conversation with Newt.
"I have to go over- yeah." Newt said, getting up and walking away from the couple.
"What is it?" Ada asks.
"I want you to know that I love you. I really do. I know you might not believe me because of what happened earlier with Teresa and what Newt and the others had said about Teresa and I. But at the end of this all, you are the person I love and the person I want to start a family with. I have no feelings towards Teresa other than the hatred for what she has done to all of us and especially Minho but I had to act like I liked her so that she will help us, you and I both know that is the only way she would help us." Thomas explains.
"I know but it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. Especially seeing you act that way with her in front of me after what everyone else has said about the two of you. Everything is up in the air and I just want all this to be over with, save Minho so we can make our way to the safe haven. We can finally be at peace, no more running. I love you, Thomas and I don't want you flirting with Teresa anymore. It hurts." Ada says.
