"Ok," Andrew said, nodding, "Sounds good."
"Also, do not let Maya do anything she doesn't have to today," Travis said, "She is really sick and keeps trying to push herself to take care of the girls and Carina, but she needs to rest."
"Sounds like Maya," Andrew sighed, "Ok. I will make sure she is resting. Carina's not sick right?"
"She wasn't when they went to bed last night," Travis said, grabbing his bag, "Now, I have to go to work. Bye Bean. I hope you feel better. Have a good day with Zio Andrea."
"Bye Unca Tee," Nora said as he kissed her forehead.
Once Travis was gone, Andrew went to check on Rowan who was just waking up, picking her up and deciding to tackle bathing both the twins first.
The rest of the day was relatively calm after Andrew death with Rowan's post-bath meltdown which woke up both of her moms. However, eventually, she calmed down after Maya stumbled into the room and picked her up, rocking her back and forth and shushing her.
That was one of the very few moments Andrew saw his sister-in-law awake the entire day though, the blonde alternating between sleeping on the couch while Carina played with her hair and sleeping in bed when things downstairs got too loud.
Carina also napped quite a bit in the afternoon once the twins took their nap, the lack of sleep from the night before hitting her hard. Rowan was much less miserable than she had been the day before though her mouth was still bothering her.
Nora struggled a lot because she couldn't suck on her fingers which was her way of self-soothing meaning she was very very fussy and upset. Carina cuddled with her as much as she could, but Andrew ended up pacing the house with her a lot, just trying to calm her down. He eventually loaded her into the car around 9 pm at Carina's suggestion because she was so overtired and upset, driving her around until she finally fell asleep.
"She finally went down?" Carina asked sleepily from the couch as Andrew carried the sleeping toddler in around 9:45.
"Si," Andrew said, rubbing the little girl's back.
"I hate that I can't do anything to help her," Carina sighed as she got up from the couch, "I hate feeling so helpless."
"Carina, you cuddled her all day," Andrew said, seeing the tears forming in his sister's eyes, "You did everything you could to help her feel better."
Just then, Nora started moving a little.
"Go put her in her bed," Carina said, rubbing the toddler's back gently, "Thank you for all your help today."
"I'll be right back," Andrew said, carrying the toddler upstairs.
Carina was a little more awake, wandering into the kitchen to get some water and Tylenol, finding that while she was fine most of the day without any pain medication, by the time the twins were in bed, she was achy and just uncomfortable. Just as she walked back into the living room, Andrew came down the stairs.
"Thank you for getting her to sleep," Carina smiled at him.
"Of course," he said, nodding, "Oh, and I check on Maya while I was putting Nora down. She is sound asleep."
"Good," Carina nodded, "I'm glad she is actually resting. She has been fighting sleep for the past few days. She is so stubborn."
"Oh, you are one to talk," Andrew laughed, rolling his eyes.
Carina stuck her tongue out at him, smirking a little.
"How are you doing?" Andrew asked, having not had much time to talk to his big sister today.
