Lani's P.O.V.

I couldn't breathe knowing that Devante had my phone. It was a good thing it was locked so he couldn't see anything private to me. But, also the fact that he kissed me was unbelievable. I guess he is real as he says. But, I feel as if I could never face him again. Then, Natalie is on every girl's ass about Cinderella.

High School is honestly turning to shit & I'm happy to be a senior so I can leave. "Guys come on, it's not like Devante is looking for Cinderella. He probably even forgot about me." I said walking into the school lobby. As I did, Christopher, Mary Jane, & I all saw flyers & posters all for Cinderella. "Who is Cinderella?" I asked as I grabbed a flyer off the wall.

"Forgot about you, huh?" Chris said. "He's definitely looking for Cinderella, cuz." Mary Jane said. "Shut up, you two. I wish I never went to the damn dance. I'm starting to regret it." I said crumpling the paper into a ball & throwing it in the trash can.

Devante's P.O.V.

"De, you're losing it!" K-Ci said as I continued to put up flyers. "She was real. It was like I've known her forever." I said moving on to the next wall. "Good for you, De. You need a real person in your life." Jojo said dapping me up. "Yeah, I wanna meet the girl who has stolen my big brother's heart away." Dalvin said teasing me.

"Shut up, Dalvin. But, thanks guys." I said. "Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere." We all said laughing. We walked down the hall when I saw Lani talking to Chris & Mary Jane. We kept eye contact until I looked away & continued walking. I heard a 'clunk' & turned around to find Lani holding her head. "Thanks." The guy with the books said walking away. Lani then fainted.

"Lani, are you okay?" I asked her. Mary Jane, Chris, Dalvin, Jojo, K-Ci, & I all took her to the nurse's office.

Lani's P.O.V.

"Lani, are you okay?" I heard Devante say. "5 more minutes." I said. I felt a whole bunch of people picking me up & carrying me somewhere. "Lani?" I heard Mary Jane's voice say to me. "Lani, are you okay?" Chris said. "I should be." I said stirring. I got up & instantly regretted it as my head started to hurt due to the impact.

"Lani, I'm glad you're okay. Be careful next time." Devante said passing me an ice pack. "Thanks, Devante." I said taking it from him. "Anytime, I better go. Bye, guys." Devante said leaving clearly feeling awkward. "Devante, I'm really glad you helped." I said genuinely. "Like I said Lani, anytime." Devante said walking out of the nurse's office.

"So, your Prince Charming saved you without knowing you're Cinderella." Mary Jane said disappointed. "When will you tell him?!" Chris said a little irritated that this is taking too long. "Soon, definitely soon guys. I promise." I said contemplating the thought.
