IT WAS A FEW DAYS LATER and the group was feeling a bit frustrated. They unfortunately weren't able to get to Sakari earlier since she was busy with work. But thankfully, she did call Mamoru to let him know that she was free for them to come by soon.
The four were silent in the car, with Katsuro looking outside as the scenery blurred by. "Do you think that we'll be able to catch this killer?" he spoke to no one in particular, but Ryu assumed he was talking to the rest of them.
"We hopefully will. Sometimes finding murders does take a bit, but thankfully we do have a lead." Ryu smiled warmly. "Don't worry."
Katsuro smiled a bit and nodded. "Thanks." he did find himself blushing a little bit at Ryu's smile and looked away when he realized it. He hadn't realized that Ryu had done the same and cleared xis throat. The back of the headquarters eventually came into view and they parked in the parking lot there. The reason is because Sakari gave them the permission to do so, and also because it was easier to get to their office that way.
Mamoru knocked on the door and waited, seeing Sakari open the door. Sakari smiled upon seeing them and waved them inside. "Hey, Katusro." she smiled and ruffled his hair.
"Mom!" Katsuro pouted. "Not right now..."
"Oh, sorry." Sakari chuckled. "I'm just happy to see you and proud of you, you know?" as the four got settled, she spoke up again. "Alright, so this is about the case?"
"It is." Mamoru nodded, shifting in his chair a bit to get comfortable. "We were wondering if you have any case files on the Crimson Raven group?"
Sakari pondered for a moment before getting up. "As a matter of fact, I believe we do! Mrs. Michiko might've had some before I took over..." she went to the drawer to look and began sorting through them, muttering to themselves. They looked over their shoulder. "Which one are you looking for?"
"Bastiaan. We don't know his last name yet, but we do know he's a former guard of Solaria's and his element types." Mamoru replied, bringing Sakari up to speed.
"Alright...well, that does make things a bit more difficult, but! I can handle that!" they grinned and eventually found it under I. "Ah, I think I got it! Iordandou, Bastiaan. I think this is the one you guys are looking for?"
Mamoru took it from them and checked it, seeing the features Acacius described to them. "Yeah, that's him but...it seems like this file was torn out of a piece of a book."
Sakari blinked. "Wait, what?" she walked over and her eyes broadened at the ripped edges on the left. "Oh, weird...I didn't even notice that. I don't know what it could be to, so I'll try finding it."
"Thanks." Mamoru smiled at his old friend before taking a moment to read. Meanwhile, Sakari tried looking for the item of where the page came from.
As he read through it, most of the info was what they already knew. However, something in particular caught his interest. "Hold on a moment...it says here that he started working for the organization back around 1112 B.C.E. That would have to be quite a few thousands years after the incident occurred."
Sakari felt herself go still. "W-Wait...I recognize that year."
"What is it..." Stella blinked and she gasped. "Oh my Aerial, that's Kiyo's birthyear."
Sakari nodded. "I know that might seem irrelevant but...that's what he told me earlier on, when he was explaining his past." she soughed, running a hand through her hair. "That means that around that time, Bastiaan had severed himself from the guards and went to Darkurus...he would have had to get some help because even then, entities were banned from going there."
