45 | Don't Do This In Front Of My Salad

Jungkook was taking forever in telling Jin what he already knows. Jimin was dying of embarrassment because of this long stretched anticipation.

Actually Jungkook has always been reserved in expressing his emotions in front of Jin, that it was naturally difficult to do it now.

"Hmm... I'm listening Jungkook... go ahead" Jin said to encourage him. And in a hurry to complete his sentence, Jungkook blurted "Because Jimin fell in love with me..."

"Hahhhh?" Jimin gasped dramatically while Jin started laughing at how Jungkook was sweating. "J~~~ He always does this... Always!!!"

"Mr. Jeon... Tell mom that you fell in love with me! Tell him now..." Jimin whined and Jin looked at him surprised. Jimin has just called him mom, without even realising.

"Say that again..." He whispered, cupping his cheek.
"What?" Jimin was still clueless.

"You just called me mom" Jin said, looking affectionately in Jimin's eyes. He noticed the tears welling up in his eyes, and pulled him in for a warm hug.

"Can I really call you m-mom..." Jimin asked with a heavy heart. Jin caressed his back up & down while nodding "I'm your mom from now on... Call me mom."

Jimin smiled before parting from the hug. He called Jin "mom" with his teary eyes. Jin squeezed his cheeks and brought his face closer to kiss his forehead. "My baby" he said.

Jimin chuckled and finally shed some tears. Jungkook was getting emotional on his place. He feels so happy and proud of his mom. His mom took him in when he had no one, and now he even became a mom to Jimin who craves a mother's love.

His heart aches thinking of Jin. Jin would have been such a nice mom to Taehyung as well. He feels bad for Tae also. Because of his problems, Tae had to suffer. He can truly understand why Taehyung despises him so much. He has every right to.

"Congratulations both of you. I'm so happy that you opened your eyes and finally realised you were in love" Jin's words made him look at his side. He rubbed his eyes to get rid of the welled-up tears. Jimin sniffed and looked at Jin with questioning eyes.

"Don't look at me like that. You two took so long to realise. And here I was waiting for you to see the love you have for each other since ages!!!"

"You watch too many k-dramas mom... Don't exaggerate" Jungkook said nonchalantly.

And Jin dramatically gasped, making Jimin laugh. "If you don't believe me then call Jimin's hyungs and see their reaction! Huh I can't believe my son says this to me. What do you take me for! Huhhhh!"

Jin crosses his arms dramatically on his chest while sighing again n again. Jungkook just shakes his head chuckling.

"Well... I'm going to take a nap, travelling is so tiring" Jin said and stood up to go to his room.

Jimin called Hobi and asked him to take Yoongi on line too. The call was on speaker from both sides. Jungkook was listening too.

Since Yoongi & Hobi do not know that they were in fake engagement to begin with, they cannot tell them about that. Jimin has to take things in his hands now.

"Hyungs... We confessed yesterday properly. Mr. Jeon proposed to me... We are... We are ready to get married..."

There was a moment of silence that had Jimin's stomach twisting so bad.

"I can't believe it took you so long to properly confess! Even after you two got engaged! Oh my god, my child is soooo slow!!"

Yoongi said making Jhope laugh. Jimin pouted on the other side while Jungkook poked his sides to tease him more.
