Spider-man sat on the roof of a car. He had a bag of fast food next to him, and the bottom of his mask was pulled up so he could shove a few fries in his mouth at a time. This was what he considered break time. After he finished his quick snack, Spider-man would be back out on the streets and taking action to stop small scale crimes.

While Spider-man was on break, Peter couldn't help but let his mind wander off to several different places.

He thought about almost a week ago when y/n kissed him. Oh, how he enjoyed that. The image of her forcefully shutting her eyes while planting one on him was engrained into his memory. He could vividly remember how soft her lips were and how gentle her touches were while her kisses were so much rougher. Peter longed to see her like that again. She was truly the most stunning girl in the world.

Then he was thinking about the reason that caused the kiss.

King Pin.

What a nuisance that man was. He was able to investigate enough to know what school Spider-man went to and get someone to work for him on the inside. It made Peter feel like he was walking on eggshells now.

Especially since they had targeted his damsel at one point. He was fine with them destroying him and his life, but messing her was a whole new ball game. One that was much more dangerous for both parties.

He had to take the whole crime group down. If not for his own sake, for his loved ones'.

"What a lazy spider," a masculine voice casually sounded from the end of the block. Spider-man looked up, seeing the familiar figure of a person he knew. "Aren't you supposed to be keeping your web clean? Getting rid of all those pesky flies and whatnot."

Spider-man shoved the last of his fries into his mouth. He quickly chewed on them, narrowing his eyes at the boy just a few sidewalk squares away from him. "You're a pain in my ass, you know that?"

Flash shrugged, "Somebody needs to keep you motivated."

"I'm plenty motivated on my own," Spider-man pulled his mask down to cover his full face once again.

"Yeah, sure you are," Flash agreed in an almost mocking sort of manner. He was sounding sarcastic while also sounding sincere.

It made Peter roll his eyes, "What are you even doing out so late anyways?" Spider-man stood up, crumbling the empty fast food bag in his hand as he stepped off the car. He and Flashed walked side by side until they reached a trash can. After the hero had thrown away the trash, he walked over to a wall and started to crawl up it.

"Freak of fucking nature," Flash scoffed in disgust as he watched Spider-man crawl on the wall. "I was coming back from practice when Ma texted me to pick up our clothes from the laundromat." Flash gestured to the garbage he was carrying, "Exhibit A."

Peter flipped Flash off for the insult he threw. Then his mind processed what he said, "Aren't you like crazy rich or something like that?" He thought back to the day they spent at the mall and how he didn't care to check price tags before choosing to buy an item. "Why would you need to go to the laundromat? You live in a penthouse. Surely it has a washing machine and dryer in the place."

"Yeah, my parents are rich," Flash nodded casually. "But my mom absolutely refuses to have her clothes washed in the building's laundry room. She says it's a waste because it costs more to run those machines than it does to spare a few quarters."

Spider-man nodded his head in understanding. He, however, did not understand anything behind that explanation. They were rich. They could blow as much money as they wanted to on washing clothes. But he didn't question it. His Aunt May did various random things that he himself didn't question until someone pointed it out.
