3rd POV:
Ada, Jorge and Brenda had left camp and were on their way to The Last City, hoping to find the Gladers on the way there or when they get there.
Tom never answered Ada and she was panicking that something had happened to him so she was even more determined to find all three of them so she could shout at them but she also wanted to cry a lot. Her emotions were all over the place.

The boys had made it quite far into the tunnel until they came across the first Crank.
Frypan stopped the truck and turned to Thomas.
"It's okay. It's just one so take it slow, go around him. We'll be fine." Thomas assures Fry.
"Take it slow." Fry repeats.
Newt turns off his light and brings his arm back on from where it was hanging outside the window. He rolls up the window so the Crank couldn't touch them.
Thomas leant back in his seat and jumped when he turned and saw a face in the window beside him, causing Newt and Fry to jump in their seats.
"Please...Help me...Please." The woman in the window says, yanking the door handle, trying to open it.
A bang was heard on the other side of the truck. Thomas turned around and saw another Crank banging on the door.
"Okay, Fry, we gotta go." Tom says when he sees more Cranks coming over to the truck.
"We need to go right now." Newt says.
"Just floor it, Fry. Go!"
"Hold on!" Fry shouts.
"Just floor it, come on!"
Fry slams on the gas and they start speeding forwards trying to get away from the Cranks but they just follow them, chasing after the car. Another Crank jumps onto the bonnet of the car and tries to punch the windshield in to get to them and he manages to make a significant crack.
"Come on, Fry. Shake him." Thomas says as Fry weaves in and out of dead cars around them.
"I'm trying."
The Crank swings around to the side of the car and tries to smash Fry's window in but Frypan sees a piece of metal hanging out. He drives over to it and makes sure that the Crank is hit by the piece of metal and gets sent flying off the truck.
They all turn back to make sure the Crank is off the vehicle and not following them.
"Frypan, watch out!" Thomas yells when he turns back around and sees the various things lying in the road.
Fry doesn't have enough time to move out of the way and the truck flips onto it's roof.
