Ada's POV:

Jorge ran over to the generator and turned off all the lights and electricity, plunging the hide out into darkness.

Tom, Vince and I run out onto the open area outside the hide out. We look around for the Berg and we find two of them with their search lights on, looking for us.

"Jeez, they're getting close." Vince says.

"You're right." Tom says. "We can't stay here."

Vince grabs Tom's shoulder in comfort, knowing that it must be hard to admit, before he walks off.

I walk behind Tom and wrap my arms around his waist, he pulls me around until my head is on his chest and we just hug for a minute. It's been a rough day.

"What're you planning?" I ask.

Tom looks at me like I just offended him but I know differently. I know him and I know that he isn't giving up on Minho.

"We'll talk about it later. Come on, let's go to bed." He says, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and leading us to our room.

-----

I awoke to rustling sounds in our room but before I could get up to investigate, I heard Tom's voice.

"Hey, It's just me. Go back to sleep." He tells me, placing a kiss on my forehead and strokes my hair until I fall asleep again.

-----

3rd POV:

Thomas got up in the night, untangling himself from Ada, and packed a bag.

He was going to save Minho, he promised him he would not let him go back to that place. He is keeping that promise.

As he was packing up a bag he heard Ada start to wake up and walked back over to her. He knows that she will want to come with him but he doesn't want her to. He doesn't want to put her in danger, this way he can save Minho, come back and no one else has to get hurt.

"Hey, It's just me. Go back to sleep." He tells her, stroking her hair and placing a kiss on her forehead. He strokes her hair until she falls back to sleep, knowing it comforts her.

He picks up his backpack, taking one last look at his peaceful girlfriend before leaving the room as quietly as he can.

He entered the garage to get a car to leave in when a familiar English accent broke the silence.

"Where do you think you're going then?" Newt asked.

"Newt..."

"Don't be a twat about it. I'm already in. Come on." Newt says, going over to Tom and taking his backpack.
