As we made it to the road I slumped down on the ground my back against a tree. I was in pain from my fighting wounds and over use of my body. But I didn't care, my everything was badly hurt and I didn't know if she would make it. I didn't know what I would do if she died. I could feel her blood seeping into my jeans, and I was more scared than I had ever been in my life. I just couldn't lose her. What the hell am I going to do if she dies? I don't think I'll be able to live.

“Lea.” I whispered a sob rising in my throat. Please god let her be okay. I'll spend the rest of my life making her happy. Please she deserves to be happy.

She looked right into my eyes, her eyes were shining with love and affection. “I love you Jake.” She said quietly and my heart melted into a puddle.

“I love you too Lea.” I said bending to give her a small kiss. If only I could change place with her, I would in a heartbeat. I could hear the medic's coming and I looked up the road. An ambulance was speeding up the road. They slammed on the breaks when they saw us and a medic came running over with his bad while the other was getting a gurney out of the back. They were both from my pack so James will have told them what happened.

“Jake I need to take her.” A guy called Peter said looking her over uneasily. The other guy came over with the gurney and she let out a wimper when they put her up on it and I couldn't help but growl at them.

After they had put her on the gurney and into the car they started to look her over. “She was attack. Does she have any medical history we should know about or any other thing happen to her.” He asked looking her carefully over trying to stop the bleeding as well as transferring some more into her.

“No, and well she hit her head pretty bad as well. And she's having a hard time keeping her eyes open. I sat down beside her head praying to who ever was up there that she would make it. She had her eyes closed again while the medic was cutting her top off. “No Lea!” I cried grabbing her hand ans squeezing it tightly, stay awake please. Lea come on please.

She turned her head slowly and gave me a small tired smile. “You need to stay awake for me, talk to me. It may help you keeping your mind of the pain.” I said hoping it may help. I glanced over at Pater who was examining her, she shook his head at me slightly and me heart stopped beating. She was loosing too much blood, she was going to die. I was going to lose her. After everything we had been through I was going to lose her in the end. The love of my life, my mate.

My heart broke into a million pieces and I dropped to my knees down on the floor and but my forehead against hers. I could feel the pain in my leg from when one of the wolves had got a good bit of me, but I didn't she. All the wounds I had from the battle didn't effect me as much as she did. She was the one killing me, she was ripping my heart out.

“Lea please, don't leave me, don't you dare close those eyes. I need you. More than anything. I can't live without you. Not again.” I said as the tears I had managed to have under control for so long finally started flowing.

She gave me a small nod but her eyes closed again and her hand loosened in mine. “Lea?” I asked with a sob in my throat. She didn't answer this time. Either did she open her eyes. “Lea.” I cried shaking her slightly. Still no responds. I could hear her heartbeat getting fainter and fainter and I couldn't get a respond from her her. The tears was running down my cheeks making it harder for me to see while I desperately called her name.

“Do something. Get her to wake up!” I yelled at Peter looking his way briefly before my attention was back on Lea once again. When he didn't move I turned fully around and glared at him. “I said do something!”

“I'm sorry Alpha. But there's nothing I can do. She is losing too much blood. She need surgery and fast if she's going to make it. But we'll be at the hospital in two minutes.” He said almost trembling looking down. I sat down again beside her just listening to her heartbeat and breathing getting harder and harder to hear. It was the longest two minutes in my whole life and I was holding my breath almost the whole way. My tears had stopped running and my body was almost frozen. When we finally arrived at the hospital I moved out of the way so that the medics would be able to get her to the doctors as fast as possible.
