Y/N FELT HIS ENTIRE BODY GOES NUMB-

as he watched the score board of Karasuno earns a winning point

He was too focused on the court that he didn't noticed his members walking towards him with sad expressions on their faces

“We..lost” He mumbled

He then turned to their opposing team and noticed how they're celebrating by jumping around in pure joy and instead of being mad for losing he smiled.

He smiled and shakes his head before turning towards his saddened members, one in particular walked towards him and bowed deeply which caught him off guard

“I-I'm sorry L/n-senpai!” Goshiki sobbed loudly, tears falling from his eyes

Y/n was flabbergasted by him as he couldn't react fast enough which made Goshiki think that his senior was definitely disappointed at him so he remained at his position and waited to be yelled at

But instead of yelling he felt a hand on top of his head and ruffled his hair, he looked up with his tearful eyes and saw Y/n smiling at him

To him he looked like an angel with the light from the stadium shining behind him

“You did great.” Y/n said before retracting back his hand from Goshiki's now unruly hair

Y/n turned to look at Karasuno and there he saw Sugawara already staring back at him, he could see how his tears glistens against the lights from the stadium and despite the pain from his cheek, he gave him a genuine grin with his eyes closed.

Sugawara watched as Y/n looked at him with pure genuine emotions, unlike the way he did before

His heart began to pound harder as time goes by, he wants to run to him and give him a hug but he knows that he can't

So he just watched the male from the distance with tearful eyes as Y/n was pulled by his teammates into a group hug, He saw how Shirabu looked at him in the eye before turning and burying his head on Y/n's neck which made his heart ache so he looked away and went back to his teammate who's busy celebrating

Y/n was surprised by Shirabu's sudden clinginess, he awkwardly reached up his hand and placed them on the back of Shirabu's head and gently stroked his hair

“I feel as if I failed everyone.” Shirabu suddenly mumbled against the fabric of his shirt

Y/n's hand stopped for a second, he gently pushed Shirabu away from him and holds his shoulder while looking at him in the eye

He could see all the emotions Shirabu was having, after all eyes never lies.

“What makes you say that?” Y/n asked in a hush tone

His hand moved to cup Shirabu's face as he waits for an answer, the male was avoiding eye contact as a scowl forms on his face with a hint of redness on his cheeks

“Look at me, Kenjiro.” Y/n said in a serious tone

“Ah- whatever I'll get over this beside there's still next year.” Shirabu shakes his head as he moved away completely from Y/n leaving him dumbfounded

“God he's such a pain.” Y/n mumbled while pinching his nose bridge, already feeling a headache coming

“When the award ceremony is over, get on the bus you've got 100 practice service waiting for you.” Coach Washijo said before walking away

“I won't be able to go, coach.” Y/n said since he had to get checked up

“Oh right, you'll clean the stadium after your check up.” Coach Washijo answered

Y/n felt a vein inside him pops as he watched their coach walks away as if nothing just happened

“I swear, all the plans I have inside my head will come true someday.” Y/n said while his eyes twitches from annoyance

“What plan?” Tendou asked while swinging his arm on top of Y/n's shoulder

“You don't wanna know.” Y/n said shaking his head and walking away with the red head clinging to him like a koala

Once they've all packed up and was ready to leave, Ushijima had plans and went to talk to Hinata and Kageyama who was also getting ready to leave

”Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama tobio, the ones who sprouted from the concrete.” Ushijima started

Y/N watched them with a look of disgust on his face as he listens to Ushijima's words

“You will taste defeat next time.” Ushijima finished before walking away

“The fuck was that, Ushi-san.” Y/n asked while shaking his head in disappointment but Ushijima just ignored him

“Y/N-NII!”

”Shoto! Don't run you'll trip-”

Y/n turned around just in time to catch Shoto who jumped into his arms, he felt his arms wrapped around his shoulders

“Sorry I didn't cheer enough for you, Nii-chan!” Shoto cried against his chest

“He's been blaming himself ever since you guys l- I mean after the match.” Mitsuki said changing her words

“It's okay Shoto, there will always be a next time.” Y/n chuckled as he rubbed Shoto's back

Mitsuki watched as his brother comforts Shoto, her lips trembles as she tried to hide her sobs but fails when Y/n looked at her

“It's okay to cry Y/n.” She said

Y/n's smile slowly disappeared as his lips trembles, his tears starts falling like rainfalls as his sister pulls him into a hug sandwiching Shoto who only tightened his hug

“I failed.” Y/n whispered

“You did great, after all that has happened to you, you remained strong and I'm so proud of you.” Mitsuki whispered as she caress the back of his head

“Just like what you said, there will always be a next time.” Mitsuki added as she pulled away from the hug and wiped her brother's tears away

“Lets go, I promised Shoto we'll eat soba after.” She said ruffling Shoto's hair

Now at the Shiratorizawa academy Ushijima was now passing down the roles to the second years who'll replace them after they graduated

“Kawanishi.” He called catching the male's attention

“Once Tendou's passed on you're going to become the corner stone for our blocking strength. You outh to have more confidence in yourself.” Ushijima started which made Y/n snorts at his choice of words

“You made it sound like as if Tendou-san just died.” He chuckled which made the other to smile and chuckled easing the tension

Y/n watched closely as Ushijima assigned the new roles, he waits for his turn.

'He'll definitely kick me out.'

“L/n.” Ushijima called

He looked at him and saw him walking towards his direction which made him more anxious than he already was

“You're no longer Karasuno's fallen prodigy, that title has been dragging you down that's why I want you to hold your chin up and carry the name of Shiratorizawa proudly.” Ushijima said

“By carry the name you mean..” Y/n mumbled

“I want you to let them know that you are no longer Karasuno's Fallen Prodigy but Shiratorizawa's Ace.”
