*Emma's POV*
I woke up and sighed. It's Monday morning. 8:20. Today's my appointment to be tested for dyslexia. I seriously hope I'm not dyslexic. If I am, I'm going to be pulled out of classes to be worked with. I don't want that. I sighed and stood up, carefully, not to wake up Gina. I got my phone and sent a text.
Hey. Want to meet up? Back in NY for a bit.
I began getting dressed. I put on jeans and a cute top, then my red leather jacket. I put my hair in a ponytail and smiled. My phone buzzed in my pocket. New text.
Sure! Meet at Central Park?
I smiled and typed my response.
Course! See you soon :)
I walked out of my room and Henry was in the hall. He rubbed his eyes and looked up at me. "Momma?" He asked. I smiled. "What are you doing?" He asked and yawned. I sighed. "I'm going out." I said. He furrowed his eyebrows and I smiled because he looked just like Regina when he did that. "Without mommy? Why?" He asked. I nodded. "If I tell you what I'm doing, will you keep it a secret?" I asked. He nodded. I smiled. "I'm going to meet one of my friends. And mommy doesn't like him. So, mommy can't know. She'd get mad at momma." I said. He sighed and nodded. "Go back to bed baby. I'll see you later. Okay?" I asked. He nodded and went back to the guest room. I walked down the stairs, then into the cold air. Central Park is in walking distance. When I got there, I looked around. I didn't see him yet.
*Regina's POV**Time Lapse*
I woke up to an empty bed. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the alarm clock. It's 10:25. I furrowed my eyebrows and stood up. I left my room and walked down the stairs. I walked to the kitchen and saw Kat and Henry eating cereal. "Hey guys." I said and walked in. "Hi mommy." "Hey Gina." they said. I smiled. "Anybody know where Momma is?" I asked. Henry looked at the floor. Kat shrugged. "Hen. Do you know where she is?" I asked. He looked up at me and looked upset. "Where is she?" I asked. "Mommy, I told her I wouldn't tell. She said you'd get mad. I don't want you to be mad." Henry said. I looked at Kat and she raised an eyebrow. "Hen. I won't get mad." I said. "Promise?" He asked. I nodded. "She went to meet a friend. She said you didn't like him and that you'd be mad if you knew." He said. I felt my anger and jealousy build. "Do you know where she went?" I asked. He shook his head. "Thank you for telling me." I said. He nodded and began eating again. I left the room and went to my room. I got my phone and dialed Emma's number. It rang once, then sent me to voicemail. I know her phone rings more than once. "Emma. This is Regina. Your fiancé. I don't care how much time you spend with him, but if you miss this appointment today, i am going to be very very angry with you. Don't miss it." I spit and hung up. I huffed and began getting dressed. I put on dark skinny jeans, a light blue blouse and tan riding boots. I left my room and went back to the kitchen. It's 11 o'clock now. "Go get dressed guys. We have to leave at 12." I said. "For what?" Henry asked. "Emma has a doctor's appointment at 12:15." I said. He nodded. He ran up to his room and I released a heavy sigh. "You're mad. Aren't you." Kat said. I shook my head. "I'm furious." I spit. "Look. I know she loves you and no one can change that. So, I wouldn't worry." She said. "No. I am going to worry. I do not trust this boy. He's in college. He's like 20. I don't trust him." I said. "And she ignored my call. That worries me." I said. "Let me get dressed. I'll watch Henry. You can go find her." Kat said. I nodded. I opened the tracking app and found Emma's location. Central Park? "Don't lose your temper." Kat said. I nodded and left. I walked to Central Park and looked around. I saw Emma and her 'friend', then some other guy wearing leather pants and a leather jacket. They were arguing. I watched for a minute until I saw him shove Emma. Oh hell no. Emma moved back to in front of him and he punched her. I ran over. "Hey jackass. Leave my fiancé alone." I said and moved in front of Emma protectively. "Hate to break it to you honey. Your girl was on a date with this lad." The leather clad jerk said. I looked at Neal who looked at the ground. "It wasn't a date, asshole." Emma said. "Bitch don't call me that. I swear I'll beat the shit out of you." He said and looked around me at Emma. "You will not lay a hand on her." I said and looked at him. "Well, you should be mad too. Your bitch was kissing my boyfriend." He said through his Irish accent. I raised an eyebrow and turned to look at Emma. "Baby. I can explain." She said. I shook my head. "Don't want to hear it." I spit. "What's your name?" I asked and looked at the guy, who looked to be wearing eyeliner. "Killian Jones. But you can call me Hook. People call me that cause i can throw a great left hook." He said. I nodded. "Thanks for telling me." I said. He nodded. "Neal. You're a fucking dick." Killian said and pointed at Neal. I tensed up. Too much cussing. "Hook. Come on. It wasn't like that." Neal said. Hook left and Neal chased after him. I began walking home. "Gina, I can explain." She said. I shook my head. "You told Henry not to tell me because I'd get mad. You kissed him. You could've gotten killed. Who knows what that psychopath would've done to you?!" I spit. "Baby-" "No. Do not call me baby." I growled. "Gina. He kissed me. I didn't kiss him. I pushed him off of me." She said. "But you still came. Even though you knew I don't trust him and now I know why. And even though you knew I wouldn't want you to come, you came. And ignored my call." I spit and continued walking home. "Regina. I'm sorry." She said. I shook my head. "We'll talk about it later. Right now, I have to pretend I'm not absolutely pissed off with you." I said and walked in the front door. Emma sighed and followed. It's 12 o'clock. "Hen! Kat! Let's go!" I shouted. Henry ran down the stairs. Kat followed but didn't run. Henry held his arms up and I smiled. I picked him up and rested him on my hip. Kat stood beside Emma. "Let's go." I said. Emma sighed. We all went to the car. I put Henry in his car seat, then got in the driver's seat. I did not hold Emma's hand like I normally do. Hopefully they won't notice. I drove to the doctors office and parked. We all walked in. I held Henry on my hip and Kat and Emma followed. The receptionist smiled at me. "I have an appointment with Dr. Randolph?" I said. She nodded. "For Emma Swan?" She asked. I nodded again. "He'll be right with you." She said. We sat down and Henry sat in my lap. Emma sat beside me and Kat on the other side. "Ms. Mills?" A man said. I smiled and stood up. "That's me." I said. "This is Emma." I said and nodded towards her. He smiled. "And who's this little guy?" He asked and looked at Henry. I smiled. "This is my son, Henry." I said. He smiled. Henry smiled sheepishly and nuzzled his head into my neck. "Okay Hen. Stay here with Kat." I said and set him down beside Kat. He nodded. Emma and I followed Dr. Randolph to an office. "Okay. So. I'll take Ms. Swan here to a room and test her. You can stay in here. It won't take long. And then we can talk about treatment and stuff." He said. I nodded and Emma and him left.

As soon as I pulled up at the house, Emma was out of the car. I sighed as she went to the door. "Why's momma upset?" Henry asked. I sighed again. "Don't worry about it baby." I said and got out. I walked to his door and opened it. I unbuckled him and he hopped out of the car. He walked to the door and Kat walked over to me. "It will get better." She said. I nodded and after about 10 minutes, we walked to the door. We walked in and I sighed. Henry's in the living room watching tv. "Keep an eye on him." I said. Kat nodded and I walked upstairs. I walked to my room and expected to see Emma. But i didn't. It's 3 pm. I saw a folded piece of paper on my pillow and I furrowed my eyebrows. My name is on the front. My heart started pounding. I walked over slowly and picked it up. My hands began shaking as I opened it.
Dear Regina,
My love, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry I went to see Neal. I'm so sorry. I love you so much. I'm sorry it came to this. But finding out I have dyslexia, ADHD and that I need glasses, in one day, is too much. And you're mad at me. I never meant to hurt you. Please tell Henry this had nothing to do with him. Please tell him I love him. Please tell Kat that I love her. And most of all, I love you. I'm so sorry. I hope you and Henry have a good life. Please don't think this is because of you. Life is just all too much. I love you Regina Mills. I'm so sorry. By the time you read this, it will most likely be too late. It is not your fault. I love you so much. I'm sorry. Goodbye my love.
-Emma
Tears were flowing from my eyes in a constant stream. I had to bite my fist to keep in a sob. I threw the note down and ran to the bathroom. The door is locked. Damn it. "Emma! Emma open the door! Please! Please be okay! Emma!" I screamed and beat on the door. "Emma!" I screamed again, tears pouring from my eyes. "Mommy?" I heard a small voice ask. "Henry, go back to your room." I said. "But mommy-" "Henry go." I said. He left. "Gina?" Kat asked. "Read the note." I said and pointed at the note on the floor. I finally picked the lock on the door and opened it. I saw Emma laying in the bathroom floor, her left forearm ripped open, blood dripping out. A sob escaped. "Emma." I said. "Kat. Call 911. Now." I said and looked at Kat who was crying. She nodded and grabbed her phone. I sat in the floor and pulled Emma's limp body into my lap. I cried. "Emma please. You have to be okay." I sobbed. "Please." I said quietly. I stroked her cheek lightly and cried. After almost 15 minutes, paramedics rushed in, pulling her body onto a stretcher. I had wrapped a towel around her arm, trying to stop the bleeding. An EMT crouched in front of me. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" He asked. I shook my head. "Please. Save her." I said. He smiled. "We will do everything absolutely possible." He said and stood up. He left and I stood up. I walked back to my room, tears still running down my cheeks. "Mommy." Henry said through tears and ran over to me. I picked him up and held him in my arms, both of us crying. "Henry baby, it'll be okay." I said and ran my fingers through his hair, soothingly. I sighed, not actually knowing if my words were true. "Okay, uh, Hen. Come here. Mommy has to go check on momma." Kat said with a shaky voice. I handed him to her and kissed his cheek lightly. "I love you both. I'll keep you updated." I said and walked out of my room. I walked down the stairs and to my car. I wiped the tears from my face and took in a shuddering breath. I got in the car and drove to the hospital. I parked, then got out. Terrified for the love of my life. I walked in and the receptionist smiled at me. "Uh, hi. I uh, I'm looking for Emma Swan. She was brought in for emergency care." I said. She frowned. "She is in room 357. The nurse on that floor will fill you in on her care." She said. I nodded and walked to the stairs. I walked to the third floor, then to the desk. "Hi. Uh, I'm here to see Emma Swan." I said. The nurse smiled sadly. "Right now she's okay. We were able to stitch the wounds together, but she is still not awake. She has a tube in her throat to help her breathe. As of now, she's in a coma." He said. I took in a shuddering breath and nodded. "Thank you." I said and walked away. I walked to Emma's room and walked in. I felt my heart shatter as I saw the woman I love, laying unconscious, a tube in her throat forcing air to her lungs, arm wrapped in blood-stained gauze. Tears fell from my eyes again. I walked over to her bed and held her right hand in mine. The steady beeping of the heart monitor, telling me she is still alive. I brought her hand to my lips and kissed it lightly. "Please be okay." I said and more tears fell from my eyes.
