Orion Black knew he had made a mistake. He spent a few minutes regretting his decisions and pondering on what to do when suddenly he realised how he can make everything right. By doing what he was thinking, he would be able to save not one but two of his children. The other two had already saved themselves by running away from their homes at sixteen but before he could be swept away with regret of losing his two oldest children again, he knew what he had to do and he immediately sent an owl to his now second youngest kid, Regulus Black.

Regulus Black, a twenty-year-old, was afraid and anxious. By request of his father and his cousin, Bellatrix, he was allowed to have a few years after graduating from Hogwarts to himself for figuring out his career. Now that he was twenty, he had no option but to join the Death Eaters, the followers of Voldemort or so he thought. On receiving an owl from his father about an emergency that required immediate attention, he immediately apparated to his home, Grimmauld Place.

To say Regulus was surprised after listening to his father would be an understatement. His father wanted him to fake his own death and run away to another country with his newborn sister. Yes, Orion had recently fathered a child, a girl and unfortunately, Walburga was not the mother. Dreading the reaction of Walburga and afraid of being talked about in polite society, he had asked his son, Regulus, the only one left who can take care of his one-day-old daughter. Her mother had abandoned her on the front steps of Orion's secret flat.

Regulus, not wanting to stay in England, knew what he had to do. He was gonna raise his sister away from the dangers of his family and the darkness that surrounded the English magical world. He was gonna make sure she had the life none of the Black kids ever did. He was gonna love and protect her. He would never abandon her as his own older brother and sister did. No, he would never do what Sirius and Lyra did. He was gonna have a new beginning now and make everything right.
