So this is the first shade that isn't in the form of "Object red" hah. I just realised this is shade forty, that means only ten shades left! Woooooooooooooohoooooooo!
A N Y W A Y. Crimson is a very deep red, quite similar to 'Blood red', actually. As you can see, the picture down there is a bunch of... crimson-ness. Since crimson isn't an object, I don't really know how else to describe it apart from saying it's a shade of red...

Oh! I know! There's a watercolour paint colour called "Crimson lake", right? RIGHT? Well, why not just call it crimson? Why lake? Since when have lakes been crimson? Hmmmm.... HMMMMMM? (< If you get that reference, you can have 100 points). Uhhhhh. Should I just shut up now?
