Explain! (Part 3 of Missing)

"ALVIN!?" Shouted Brittany. "I thought you.. you..." Alvin walked up to her and leaned against the wall. "You thought I was on a different Island?" He said with a cold glare. Brittany suddenly got nervous around him but didn't care. "Yeah, we were worried sick!" Alvin's eyes widened a bit. "We?" He said confused. "Yeah," Brittany replied. "Jeanette, Simon, Eleanor, Theodore and Dave!" Alvin froze as he heard the name Dave. He shook his head and looked at Brittany. "He came for us?" He asked. "Yes! When we couldn't find you, everyone gave up, except for me! I wanted to keep looking for you!" Said Brittany. "But they prevented you." Said Alvin sadly. Brittany gave him a slow nod then walked up to him and put her have on her shoulder. "I'm sorry we didn't find you, but where were you?" Brittany asked. There was a moment of silence till Alvin and Brittany heard someone outside. "Brittany! Brittany!" Shouted Eleanor. "I'm in here Ellie!" Responded Brittany. After a minute Simon, Eleanor, Theodore, Jeanette and Dave were inside. (Except for Dave cause we know why) "Brittany! We were worried sick!" Said Jeanette. "I'm fine, Jean." Said Brittany. "Wait, Alvin!?" Every turned around to see Alvin against the wall. "Yeah.. I forgot to mention.." said Brittany. Everyone was just shocked at that moment. No one said anything, until Simon spoke up. "W-Well, I hope you don't mind us staying for the night?" Asked Theodore. Alvin glared at him. "Yeah, you can." He said coldly and ran off some where. When Brittany was about to follow, Simon put his hand on her shoulder and shook his head.

A little while later, the Chipettes changed into flower dresses like last time. "Ellie, these dresses are adorable!" Said Jeanette. "Thanks, Jean" Eleanor replied. Just then Dave came through the bushes. "Hey, girls have you seen Alvin? I never seen him since we where in the treehouse." He said. The girls looked at each other then back at Dave. "Uh, no we haven't." Said Brittany. "Maybe check the waterfall?" "Okay, thanks" Dave said walking away.

With Alvin, Simon and Theodore, Jeanette said that they could have a little 'Bonding time'. "Uh.. Alvin?" Asked Theodore. "What?" Said Alvin moody. "Uh, Theo and I were wondering, why are you so angry?" Asked Simon. Suddenly Alvin tackled him to the ground. Simon tried to get free but Alvin stopped him. "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH PAIN I'VE BEEN THROUGH THE PAST MONTH, UNDERSTAND!?" Shouted Alvin. Simon nodded his head scared then Alvin let go. Simon got up and Theodore and froze traumatised. Alvin just walked away leaving them alone. "W-What do you think he meant by that?" Asked Theodore. "I don't know, but I know it wasn't good." Said Simon

~Time skip to night~

The Chipmunks and the Chipettes are sleeping in Alvin's treehouse and Dave is outside in a hut he made for himself. Brittany heard footsteps and woke up, noticing Alvin is gone... She got up and saw which way he was going, she followed him silently till they were at a beautiful lake with the moon's reflection in the water. "Whoa.. this place is beautiful.." said Brittany. Alvin immediately turned around to find Brittany looking around. "So you followed me." He said. Brittany walked up to him and sat down. "What are you doing here?" She asked. He looked at her then back at the lake. "I come here when something's on my mind." He said. Brittany looked at the lake. "Like what?" She asked. Alvin gave her a 'are you serious' face. Brittany couldn't help but give him a sly smile. She looked up at the moon. "Y'know Alvin, you changed a lot, what happened?" Alvin was silent. Then he finally found his words. "It's just, after you left me, I felt betrayal, anger and sadness. Like I was falling in an endless pit you guys pushed me into." Brittany's eyes widened when she heard that. Alvin frowned at the ground. "I thought you'd leave me here. The truth is, Britt. When we where together on the island a month ago, I felt something that I'd never thought I'd feel, it was something for you.." Alvin smiled at Brittany while she was processing this. 'W-What?' She thought. "S-So, you're saying that, y-you we're falling for me?! L-Like in love!?!" Brittany exclaimed. Alvin just nodded his head slowly. "It's fine if you don't, I'll totally understand-" Just then, Brittany pulled Alvin close to her and kissed him with passion. Alvin widened his eyes for a second then kissed back, after a while they finally broke the kiss gasping for air. "Uh, I did not expect that..." Said Alvin. "Sorry for doing that without a warning." Said Brittany. "I just wanted to say, I like you back.." Alvin just sat there processing all this. Then he shook his head and looked into Brittany's Sky blue eyes. Then they leaned forward to each other and kissed again.
