Leah looked at herself in the mirror. Was this really her? She didn't look like the shy, mousy girl she had become. She looked confident and beautiful, and for once she wasn't at all worried about what she was wearing.

"Leah, you look stunning. You're going to blow that man's mind!" Tamara said from behind her. Jenna added her agreement.

"Honey, you look absolutely gorgeous."

"I don't look too...I don't know!"

She looked down at the white sundress she was wearing, her earlier confidence beginning to evaporate.  It wasn't indecent at all.  It came to just above her knees, and it only showed the slightest hint of her cleavage. It was just after so many years of wearing frumpy, baggy clothes she felt uncomfortable.

Jenna stood up and stood beside her.  She placed a hand on Leah's shoulder.

"Listen to me girly.  Seb is attracted to you.  You are attracted to him.    If you really feel that uneasy, change back into your leggings and T-shirt, he'll still fancy you anyway, but you do look bloody amazing.  Your hair looks great wavy like that.  Your makeup shows off your eye colour to perfection.  You need to start getting some confidence sweetheart.   I know it's hard, but sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind.  Live Leah."

Leah looked at herself in the mirror again.   Tamara and Jenna were right.  It was time to stop living in the past and embrace the future.

"Thank you so much for helping me get ready.   I don't know what I'd do without you two."

There was a knock on the door.  "That will be your prince," Tamara said.   "Come on Jenna. Our work is done."

Jenna opened the door and smiled at Seb.  She exited the room. Tamara followed.  She briefly paused as she was passing him.  "You treat her like the princess she is Vettel!"

"I will Tamara.  I promise."

"You'd better or I'll hunt you down."

He stepped into the room and his heart began to race as he saw Leah stood in front of him.  She was quite simply stunning.   Her caramel hair fell in waves to just below her shoulders.  Her dress was simple but beautiful.  He felt like the luckiest man in the world.

"You look beautiful," he said, causing her to blush slightly.  He crossed the room and stood before her.  He took her hand in his and raised it to his lips.

Leah felt so nervous. She didn't know why, it wasn't as if it was their first date. Seb looked so handsome.    Was he really hers?

He was wearing a pair of beige chinos and a plain white shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows.  He'd had a haircut, his curls were now short and controlled.  She was pleased to see he hadn't shaved, there was something so attractive about a
man with stubble, or maybe it was just this man.  And he smelt amazing!
