Chapter 21: Paradise

I woke up cuddled between Newt's arms, our arms and legs entangled with each other and I sighed, staring into Newt's shirt he was wearing. I felt like I was in a dream. "Para, para, paradise" I sang quietly as it matched my feelings quite well. "Para, para, paradise" I heard Newt's deep voice sing, as I looked up at his face that was right above me. He finished singing the verse and then looked down at me and gave me another forehead kiss. "Great singing voice you've got there, Blondie" I said to him, snickering as his face went ever so slightly red. I turned around, going to go and get one of my books from the bedside table. And as soon as I moved, Newt wrapped his two long arms around my waist, making me blush slightly, as he pulled me back to his side. He pulled me back until I felt my back touch his chest and he spooned me. He lifted his head up and took one of his hands from my waist on to my hair, moving it from my face to behind my ear, lovingly. I smiled and turned my body round completely to engulf him in a bear hug. I hummed in contentment into his chest, before snuggling into it, sleepilly. I felt myself nearly lose consciousness, when my door burst open, and I jumped up to see Minho staring at me, wide eyed. "Yessss!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. "Finally!!!" he screamed again, before running out of the door at top speed, screaming Gally's name in the process. I groaned and got up wearilly before walking over to the kitchen, where I saw Minho climbing up to the roof. "Minho, what are you doing?!" I asked him, but he didn't hear me and he continued climbing. I felt Newt come up behind me and take my hand in his, secretly. "What's he doing?" He whispered in my ear, and it sent tingles down my body. "I have no idea" I whispered back, and he chuckled lightly. "Listen up, listen up everyone" he started saying.. "This very morning I was looking for Thomas and I was going to ask Y/n where he was. I came into her hut and you know what I saw?!... Newt and Y/n, sleeping together!" He finished his speech by dramatically pointing at us, and everyone gasped and turned their heads. At that very moment Newt was holding my hand and whispering nonsense into my ear, making me giggle, which made everyone's eyes widen. I tapped Newt and he hummed at me in response. "Look" I simply said and he turned his head to see everyone in the glade looking at him. He let my hand go and reached behind his head, to embarrassingly scratch the back of his head. "The evidence" Minho once again dramatically said, and everyone gasped loudly again. "Stop being so dramatic!" Newt said, clearly a bit annoyed with Minho. "And Minho, stop being a sassy, sarcastic, dramatic person for once!" This time it was Minho's time to gasp and he did, putting a hand on his chest, very offended. I was just standing next to a pissed off Newt, while having both my hands over my mouth trying very hard not to let my laughs through. Newt turned to me, unimpressed by me laughing at him. "You think that's funny, don't you?" he asked me and I quickly shaked my head, my hands still on my mouth. "If you think that's funny, you'll think this is funny '' he said to me, then reaching his hands out to tickle the life out of me.
