Hi! Please comment so that I know if I should keep writing more parts!
this is just a filler though...
I bolted up and felt sweat and tears all over my face, or I think it was sweat, maybe I had been soaked in water somehow. I had forgotten what I had been dreaming about for the most part, but I know that it wasn't a good one.
My eyes focused and I heard myself panting.
My head turned sharply and Will seemed to jerk back. Then I softened and almost fell back with exhaustion, I felt like I had previously been possessed by something, like in all those movies and as it came out of me all my energy was taken away and I almost collapsed.
I sighed, "Yeah?" I held my hand to my head, gosh it hurt so much. I must have cried myself to sleep. Then my eyes flashed open, “wait, where am I? Why are you here?” I started getting out of bed but as I did I got another head ache!
“Wait a minute! Just rest!” he pushed me back into bed and wrapped the quilt around me. He then stood up and drew the curtains back and light poured in. “You’re at my house, you fell asleep at the Dehell’s and I thought that it might be a good idea to either bring you home or bring you here.”
“oh. OK.” Then it came rushing back once more. “ My letter! Where’s my letter?” I was frantic.
He looked around and on a table there was a piece of paper that he picked up. “Is this is? My mum must have put it to one side.”
I took it and had a quick look, yes, it was my letter. I looked at him. “Nobody read it did they?”
“Not that I know of.”
I let out a breath that I didn’t know I was holding in. “It’s just I’ve only read a few sentences myself even though it’s really long and it’s just kind of, well, I don’t know what it is yet, so…” I didn’t really know what to say.
“I think I should go home now.” I said bluntly, “Thank you though.”
“Don’t you think you should stay? You didn’t seem too well.”
“How long have I been here?”
“well, I should really pick up some of Gabriel’s stuff.” I thought to myself.
“I’ll help.” He offered quickly.
I heard a grunt and turned to see Chris in his boxers, he looked drowsy and half asleep, his hair was tousled and his eyes looked closed, he was rubbing his neck, he looked to the side for a second and then alert looked round again. His eyes shot open and I almost felt like laughing.
“erm, Hi!” he said.
“Hi.” I replied.
He bit his lip and walked off to a bathroom with some clothes in his hand.
I smiled a little.
“Do you wanna have breakfast here?”
“I guess that would be good- if your parents don’t mind”
“No, they won’t!”
We went downstairs and I looked at my hand, it was still clutching the letter tightly. The letter hadn’t been crumpled too much.
I sat at the kitchen table and it was a weird feeling, Will started looking through the cupboards but I felt uncomfortable, kind of like he was serving me so I went into the kitchen area and leant against the island.
As he was looking his mother came in, she was dressed and well awake, she was very pretty and young looking, she had soft blonde hair with brown highlights, but I supposed it was natural and her eyes were brown.
“Good morning Maggie! Good morning Will. How are you this morning Maggie, it looked like you had a rough night?”
“Better, thank you.”
“you found your letter did you? I put it on the dresser, it seemed important, I didn’t look at it of course but I put it back in it’s envelope for you!”
I held up the envelope.
“oh good! So what are we having for Breakfast?”
Will seemed to be struggling with all the things in the cupboards, he had taken some things out and seemed to have no idea how to place them back inside so that it all fit.
“Well I think I’d be fine with a piece of fruit.” I said, I still didn’t want to eat at all but I suppose that I was quite hungry since I hadn’t really eaten in a few days and didn’t want to be rude and I know that I probably should have said something before he pulled everything out but the things he pulled out he said he was going to eat anyway.
“Are you sure?” she asked concerned.
“Yes. I have to go home soon anyway or at least over to a friends’ house, they live across the road.” Or he used to, I thought to myself.
“All right then.”
I talked pleasantly with Will’s mom but it was just the normal how’s school and who are you friends with etc.
Half way through eating some fruit, since it was insisted I have a few, Chris walked in. He now had his day clothes on and was fully prepared for the day.
“Good Morning dear.” His mother said.
“Hey, mom.” He replied. He turned to me, “Hi!”
“How are you?”
“Are we still Ok for tonight?”
“I’m not sure, I didn’t get to finish what I was supposed to do yesterday so I need to see what time I’ll finish.”
“Do you want some help?”
“erm, well I don’t know, if you both want to you can but I don’t really mind.”
The two boys looked at each other then looked at me, “we’ll help!”
