Five Days Later...
"Good morning, cowboy." Elisabeth murmured, giggling at the feel of Walker's facial hair pricking her skin as he left soft kisses on her neck.
He groaned softly and in one quick motion, he grabbed her hips and turned over so that she was now on top and straddling him.
He leaned against the headboard with a sly smirk across his face. "Walker, baby, as much as I'd love to stay in bed with you all day, we can't." She told him, lacing her fingers through his hair.
Though they hadn't done anything outside of kissing and cuddling, the craving was there. The sexual tension between the two ranch hands was thick enough to cut with a knife.
"Alright fine..." He murmured, his voice a little raspier than usual. She smirked a little, kissed his cheek and got up off of him.
Walker sat up and stretched while Elisabeth pulled up her jeans, taking her belt off of the floor and threading it through the denim belt loops, leaving it unbuckled.
Walker swung legs off the side of the bed and stood, rolling his shoulders a of couple times to loosen up his joints.
"You ok over there?" She asked, peeling off her old shirt and leaning over to pick up her bra.
"Yeah I'm- Ah! Jesus!" He exclaimed.
"Walker, you've seen me cry, and you've seen me naked. I really don't give a fuck what you see now." She said, chuckling and clipping up her bra.
"It's not like you can see anything. I'm not even facing you." She added.
Walker huffed and pulled up his jeans, the buckle on his belt jingling a little. "Well I didn't exactly expect you to be completely fuckin' topless when I turned around."
Elisabeth giggled to herself and slid a white tank top over her head, using it as a makeshift undershirt.
"Not that I'm complaining..." He added softly.
"Good lord, Walker..." She huffed, a smile evident in her voice. "What am I gonna do with you?"
"Mmm... hopefully nothing bad."
Elisabeth rolled her eyes and buttoned up her long sleeve Ariat shirt while Walker finished up dressing himself.
"Want some coffee?" She offered, sliding her boots onto her feet. Walker hesitated.
"Uh... sure." He said, copying her actions as she exited the room, taking her hat with her.
"Morning, Mr Dutton." She greeted when she entered the kitchen, seeing John leaned against the counter with a mug in his hand.
"Mornin' kiddo. You sleep alright?" He asked, taking a sip.
She nodded. "Is it alright if I have some of this?"
John gave her a smile. "Take as much as you want. Who's it for? Last I heard, you didn't drink coffee."
Elisabeth chuckled, taking a mug from the cabinet and filling it with the hot substance. "I'm afraid you know me a bit too well. It's for Walker."
She looked over her shoulder, seeing her male companion hovering at the doorway.
He seemed hesitant. She understood why, though. Walker had grown up a bit rough and wasn't used to such luxuries.
"C'mon now." She coaxed. "You're not gonna get sued just for being in his house."
"Well I sure hope not." He muttered, slipping in beside her. She gave him the mug and he began to drink.
