NOVA CORPS BATTLESHIP
The holographic briefing flickered, casting distorted shadows across the Nova Corps battleship. Peter Parker, Captain of the Nova Star, tapped his foot impatiently, a scoff escaping his lips as Ko-rel, his rival and fellow captain, outlined the mission.

Ko-rel's glare held the icy bite of Xandarian winters. "This isn't about skill, Captain Parker. The intel suggests heavily armed pirates with hostages aboard the ship. Underestimating them could cost lives."

While Ko-rel's team engaged the pirates head-on, Peter planned a flanking maneuver, intending to disable the ship's shields and expose the pirates on two fronts. In his mind, it was a stroke of brilliance, a way to outshine Ko-rel and claim the victory.

"You could have gotten us all killed," she spat, her voice laced with venom. "What were you thinking, Peter?"
Peter, pacing restlessly, forced a smile. "Just taking initiative, darling. Didn't anticipate a slight miscalculation." He dismissed her accusation with a wave of his hand, but the tremor in his voice betrayed his facade.
Ko-rel scoffed. "Miscalculation? You nearly turned that ship into a tomb! Those lives lost... on your conscience, Parker."
Shame gnawed at Peter, but his pride wouldn't let him cede so easily. "Those pirates were armed, a danger to the hostages. My quick action-"
