After Reyna left an eerie silence covered the room like a blanket before Joe spoke, "Wow. Just. Wow. I never realized this happened to her, but now I feel so sorry for her. Especially what Pete," he glanced at me, "did to her."
"Yeah," Andy mumbled an agreement looking at his feet, a silent tear crawled down his face.
Patrick cried quietly to himself, I am guessing he was trying to process what happened.
After twenty minutes of silence Patrick said, "I think we should go to bed it's been a long day and we should get some sleep," he walked to his room wiping his face.
I take his advice and head to my room, but I hear a noise in the basement, and decide to check it out.
