Databook 2!

Welcome to the official 2nd Databook for SUGAR//CRASH!

Now this Databook will be covering some topics brought up in both the "Vol.2 Arc" and "Grimm Eclipse Arc".

So without further ado, let's dive right into it!

Alyx Skadi:

Alyx Skadi is the author of her own journal which details her adventures with the Prophet Oum Monty and her fellow friends.

Based on her words such as:

"A Remnant of what it once was..." And "After exploring the other worlds I had access to at the time, we returned to find our world, Hanau, was gone..."

It appears that she is from a different time period, possibly the same period of time as Ozma and Salem. Not only that, but she seems not to be the only one from a lost age.

She was traveling with the Prophet Oum Monty and a woman named Seramina who is a silver-eyed warrior. However, these are not the only Travelers who are in the group.

There are many more members of Oum's traveling party who are important to the story as well as have connections to some of the characters.

Some of these traveling members will also be related to some of Remnant's Fairy Tales. Like how Alyx Skadi is the same Alyx from the story "The girl who fell through the world".

I will not give away too much information but I will give this much.

Oum's traveling party consisted of 5 members, not including himself. He and the other four were from the 1st Human race while the fifth was from the 2nd Human race.

Two traveling members are key figures in three other Fairy Tales, which are "The Shallow Sea", "The Judgement of the Faunus", and "The Hunters Children".

And Oum as well as his fellow traveling companions, all have descendants that have or will make an appearance in this story and its sequel.

Oh... And one last thing.

Alyx is not dead.

Grimm/Human Hybrid:

Well let's talk about the hybrid form, shall we?

The black ooze that leaked out of the Wyvern as seen in Vol.3 was able to create small Grimm pools that created Grimm.

On the wiki, it was stated that the ooze was a hint that how the Grimm was created which we know are the Grimm pools and the Dark Brothers pool as well.

People saying that regular humans can't survive the ooze is wrong.

Take The Hound, for example, it's no doubt infused with the ooze almost like a symbiote, so Salem in canon has found a way to fuse a Human and Grimm (Yeah, he was a silver-eyed Faunus, but that is still as close as we ever saw to a perfect Hybrid) (Cinder doesn't really count because she isn't really fully hybrid).

Also how a Grimm can gain a "Soul" is simple. But first, let me ask you a question. What came first, The Body or the soul?

In RWBY I think that for humans, it's the Soul then the body.

For the Grimm, it's the Body then the soul. The Grimm are "Born" with their full bodies and as Oobleck stated in Canon, as time passes on, The Grimm can grow a consciousness. This in my opinion tells me that with enough time, they can gain their own morals and thoughts and with those Morals and Thoughts, comes a soul and even their own Aura and Semblance!
